I have literally never been so invested in the well-being of fictional characters as I have now. This may, in fact, be my favorite Legend of Zelda fic ever.

Final review: This fic reminds me of an animated movie called 'Tin Tin' that was written by two directors during different halves and you can tell when it switched to a different director. The first half of the movie was 'Steven Spielberg' which the movie was a lot more serious. Think spy detective like where the 2nd half was Peter Jackson's part and it went off the walls goofy and was a total joke where characters all pretty much bounce off the walls.

This fic is a lot like that where it starts out very serious and feels like reading a news script/documentary of people's journey thru the shooting/hostage crisis,etc then a 2nd writer came in and made it off the walls physics "Master Stapler seriously?".

I wonder if you took liberties from Tin Tin and implanted that kind of measure to your fic? I wonder if two authors actually wrote this.

BTW: For the record they are NOT at the 'top of the tower' yet. It goes upper still where the roof is the true top of the tower if Ganon wants to do this right the 'fight' should be up there which he breaks the door down for them to go up.

The naming scheme is absolutely as low as it gets literally it's actually 'borrowed' (air quotes) names but then again I'd be a hypocrite if I said I was any better. I also suck at names.

And if Kafei let any of the monsters live he would've been just as much of a monster to begin with then doing something to stop the threat.

Since what I'll say would get me banned on A02 due to authors wanting nothing but praise gushing up their nose and out the ears I'll say it here since this site actually favors feedback.

Realism: 8/10. I would give it a 10 out of 10 because of all the scenes going on and how each chapter intervenes into each other but some of the solutions would never EVER happen. -1 score for the Triforce mary sue thing and some 'forced' situations to make sure certain Triforce events happen now and later in the fic.

Another -1 score due to the way the SWAT team went in without much planning and not using their full available tools. I may be biased but I've seen enough articles and watched Dallas and Kansas Swat to see how SWWAT teams operate between the two cities since policies DO differ between SWAT teams despite a lot of similarities.

If they had use some kind of robot which every SWAT has the 'ambus' Ganon setup they would've shot out at the robot instead of them (maybe) disabling it at least disabling the feed but the SWAT would still get a good enough picture of what they are pitted up against even if the video feed fails. That would've been a whole lot more believable scenario as it would be well within their rights and policies.

Actually entering physically to any building or structure is a VERY last resort when you see or hear about that it means everything else usually fails.

In Kansas City SWAT I have seen them cut power off to the facility they are surrounding to make it uncomfortable for the suspect(s) inside. If they did that to the school the camera system likely would've gone down or backup batteries would quickly drain if in constant use.

Another thing if any flash grenades' are thrown inside wouldn't it set the fire alarm off? Smoke detectors in common areas are linked to a panel which sends a supervisory (pre alarm) signal beeping at the panel: which if enough smoke enters will go into full alarm dialing into the fire department. They cannot ignore that alarm and have to at least visually inspect the place at a minimum.

I DO give this a 9/10 for character interaction since they have realistic emotions and effects though again some situations were forced to make certain an outcome so I had to knock it down a score.

Most fanfics like this would've been more like a 5/10 because of so many forced things to make sure certain characters go/don't go together.

If the SWAT team is responding to a high risk warrant they can also use the armored vehicle as a door pull to pull heavy doors or metal cages off. Once they are tied to the truck OFF IT COMES!

I saw one Dallas Swat show where an entry went completely wrong as the front door was heavily barred from the inside so they went with plan B. Their Lenco BearCat got stuck trying to knock down a fence down where the B team was setting up out back so they had to devise a new entry plan trying to get into a side window which they eventually did after much struggle.

On that same episode the front door grill went flying an gave the officer a glancing blow. He had the wind literally knocked out of him as it didn't quite go to plan.

If you watched Dallas Swat and Kansas City Swat (the latter really try hard to not tear up your crap) they wouldn't even DARE send a team in unless they know there isn't going to be an ambush. Instead they'd try to toss a phone into where they believe the suspect(s) may likely be to get them to answer and if that fails will toss some gas canisters that fill the room up with tear gas making it VERY uncomfortable to be in.

If all that fails they will usually send in a robot with a camera into such as the back room of that school where the ambush kids are waiting. The ambush kids would likely try to shoot out the robot (which is armored) alerting authorities outside where they are. The most the ambush team would get is knocking out the digital feed and it helps paint a picture to the SWAT unit outside what's going on inside.

Once they are absolutely ready to storm the school they will use an armored vehicle to walk behind as it slowly drives up then they will throw a flash bang into the room they are about to enter after announcing their presence.

"I wasn't able to think straight afterwards!" Well then I don't think this 'Zelda' would make even a half assed soldier as you can't be in a not able to think stage or you risk jeopardizing your teams safety.

Luckily it was just two idiots bumbling into each other and got messed up instead of a squadron the country highly depends upon. One or two broken cogs can jam up the rest of the machine.

"She really should have thought of this first" First of all why did you just delete that quote? I literally was going to quote that and a minute later that quote isn't to be found.

Second of all Zelda hardly ever thinks things thru first. We call that 'Bleeding Heart Liberal' they place their emotions first and logic last which leads to extremism.

Tying this fic to the Triforce reincarination formula ruins (some) of the credibility of this fic as it makes it too rigid.

Interesting concept however it's main flaw is how much formula it is.

They should've grabbed Vaati's gun so he'd be short of a weapon when waking up.

I have read this previously, but I came back to reread it and it is now 4 AM I have no regrets!
