|Reviews for A Crown of Woodland Flowers|
| Virodeil chapter 1 . 4/9/2009
I like this one-shot... The story was interesting; simple but deep in meaning. It is enough to describe the history behind the usage of living flowers and leaves and berries for a crown to me, although I doubt some would agree. :)
There was no certain time background except that it was pass the time of the Last Alliance; while I think timeline is needed here, however, it is not the greatest importance.
At least, from the couple's conversations, I know that they did not have any children yet and that Thranduil had reigned for a long time. I do hope that you would explain the timeline, though...
By the way, about the crown, is it not absurd that Thranduil would lay down his head on anything with his crown intact on his head? It would be inconvinient - and he would not certainly forget wearing that metal frame, I imagine. Swimming with crown intact would be just as uncomfortable too, I think. :) Just a thing to consider... :)

What a beautiful and touching story that is definitely going on my favorites! It touched my heart in a way that a story- fanfiction or otherwise -has not in a long time. Thank you for this!

Oh, that is lovely... I really like the concept that the royal crowns were conceived (and two of them made) under such wonderful, peaceful, loving circumstances! Nice to see Thranduil relaxing for a change!
What a great tale-thank you for sharing it!

I like your mention of how Telparian capably ruled the kingdom in his absence. It really gave another dimension to her character.
Thranduil's as well. He seems so young and-well, elflike! :)

What a lovely way to spend a beautiful summer day! A waterfall, a field filled with wild flowers, wine, cheese...and the love of your life...perfect!

What a lovely story! Two people in love and spending time with each other - is there anything better?
I loved how Thranduil imbued his magic bond with the forest into the crowns. And how he decided those should be the crowns of the realm from now on. Perfect!
