| Storie Hunt chapter 1 . 1/4
Wonderful, fun, case story. Now I cannot see gumballs lying on the sidewalk in my neighborhood without picturing Sam and Dean and the explosion! You've ruined those trees for me for life - Thanks!

I really liked this story. And I liked that you didn't give in to the cliched granny as a wicked witch. Having her die of natural causes was a very interesting twist. At first, I thought her life was tied to the tree somehow and in killing the tree they somehow killed her, but I liked the way you did it better. It is an interesting thought that Sam had never been around anyone who died normally. The boys' explanation of what happened to the fire truck and the tree also had me howling with laughter. I sure wish you were still posting stories in this fandom. I will miss them when I'm done reading through them.

I love your characterization of the brother bond in this story...as well as the fact the "big bad" is a tree!
Really great story!
| Lady NeverAfterNon chapter 8 . 4/10/2013
Loved it :)
| shookenuppepsi chapter 8 . 4/5/2013
This was so cute! Love the boys' interactions and Grannie Bea was a riot. Sam actually getting a full night's sleep and contentedly napping on a rocking chair was a nice bit. Loved it!
| Guest chapter 8 . 12/21/2012
Love the story! It's hilarious.
| Music Marauder chapter 8 . 12/10/2012
Brilliant! I've read this one before but I forgot to leave a review. I love this...thank you for posting. :)
| TrebleMaker chapter 8 . 8/26/2010
just happened to stumble across this one. i absolutely loved it! nicely done!
| R-Gomeni chapter 8 . 12/19/2009
Classic, absoutely classic. I loved the idea of it: such a ridiculous case having such widespread consequences... and of course they have to cause a national disturbance. Magnificently done!
| Amakurikara chapter 8 . 12/12/2009
So this story was pretty much amazing. I laughed so hard at a lot of this. I've read a couple of other of your stories, and I have to say that you are a pretty talented writer. I love this story!
| Marlowe97 chapter 8 . 8/4/2009
Oh thank you!
That was so nice, utterly comforting and funny as well. I loved it, the first chapter alone would have been worth the read, but you kept me hooked all through the story. Fun Fun Fun, Dean on a fire-truck - YeeHa!
And I liked Grann Bee, so nice for the boys to finelly meet someone who gives them such deserved rest and feeling of security (man, Dean even felt relaxed enough to talk about their dad - too bad Sam missed it *wink*
Really good, I especially liked te friendly banter, I'm pretty bad with imagining light humor, so I'm always in awe of writers who can step the fine line between humor and comedy as opposed to plain silly.
You're really good!

The only that would have made this sweeter would have been an actual conversation with a stunned, disbelieving Bobby or John. Ahh, I'm sad it's over. :) Will definitely be reading more of your stuff. Thanks for sharing this.

Ahh, you're skillful. Only thing better than a good, exciting, funny story is one that manages to squeeze in a bit of surprise angst and some Dean-wisdom. This was just beautiful:
“She lived a good long life.”
“How do you know?” Sam asked slightly accusing though he hadn’t meant for it to come out that way.
“Because she still found it within herself to laugh at age ninety.”
I'm not at all mad that you took away Granny Bee, though I was pretty convinced she was going to turn into a blaze-eyed witch and rise up on a roiling cloud of flames and smoke, cackling, and try to blast the boys into oblivion with streams of chicken n dumplings or something.

OMG, I was so ready for this tree/firehose showdown and then,
"Dean smirked, his eyes never leaving the tree as he braced himself and then pulled down on the lever.
I was rolling, man. That's some funny shit. I was just picturing Jensen Ackles looking down at a limp hose and not a drop of water coming out of it and then the tapping and the jiggling and all of a sudden WHOSH! and it was just. too. funny.
And then you went all action-movie on me, and there's explosions and blood and STILL with the funny:
“Are you seriously gonna bitch while we’re getting gumball grenaded?”
And then the NUKE-TREE-EXPLOSION was SO well described! It was freakin' perfect.
(and since you were giving A/N thanks for 'dawn' vs 'don' corrections, I thought you might appreciate a little point-out that when Dean says "a fire hose and pressure gage", you should be using 'GAUGE: a device or instrument for measuring' rather than 'GAGE: something, as a glove, thrown down by a medieval knight in token of challenge to combat'.)
Oh yeah, and from now on, WE KILL EVERYTHING WITH HOLY WATER!

Aw, okay, so short and short on plot, but adorable! I do love these brothers, and certainly read enough angst about them, so some occasional fluff is very welcome. :)
Love Dean flushing the toilet on Sam, ha!
