i just read through this in one day lol. it is rare to see the "bad guys" keep their scary and snarky personalities is kind of rare and I love you including it. It made the slow burn soooo much better

I think I'm gonna cry. Thus was one of the sweetest endings ever. I LOVED the moment when Sakura and Deidara were reunited with Kisame. So sweet.
And then they had a kid...i can't even...AGH YESSS!
I loved this story so much. The entire idea of it was awesome. I especially liked the first chapter. It was such a unique beginning!
Now, those writing skills of yours...AMAZING. I could visualize all the scenes in my head clearly and I felt the emotions of the characters.
I truly enjoyed this. A masterpiece.

The ending of the story is a description of mundane activities that you would expect from ordinary civilians. I feel like that's really symbolic in the sense that the trio has walked away from the stressful and dangerous reality of shinobi and war and are now living out their days in peace. It's a powerful emphasis of how they have escaped from their old deadly lifestyles. Hats off for that one.

Refreshing premise. I liked how you did not shy away from acknowledging the clichés in your story and how you made fun of those clichés. It resulted in your story being more genuine and down to earth. I just wished you would have explored the war and the deaths of Sakura's loved ones at a greater depth. I feel like that would have resulted in a more emotionally resounding story. I also feel like some parts were a tad melodramatic. With that said, your story is something you should be proud of. It's a good piece overall.

I always stop in Chapter 2, with Kisame and Deidara's threats against Sakura to rape her when she tries to escape

This is a great work of art. I’ve been combing through tons of Naruto fanfic this year and this is easily one of the best stories I’ve read. I love how you’ve explored and celebrated Sakura, Deidara, and Kisame’s humanity in all their heart wrenching and heartwarming moments. You have a special talent with the emotional scenes and making us love the characters. The part that especially stood out to me was the early cruise ship one where Kisame’s dialogue alternates with Sakura’s internal realizations and ends with Deidara’s poignant memory. And the scene where Deidara asks Sakura to stay and asking her to marry him was also stunning. They’re so different and so broken and the breakthrough in their understanding of one another in these scenes is deeply moving to me. It’s a beautifully written piece and I feel all this wading through a year’s worth of fanfic was worth it to find this one. Thanks for writing this excellent story!

I loved loved loved loved loved this story. A long time I wondered when it would go into this direction and when would they realise what they've got thmeselves into, especially since Deidara being into her was clear from the beginning :')

The way the lead their mad-up lives and telling made up storys to new members opposed to the way they talk about their past was a wonderful wrap up. the have all three been schooled to be warriors, and found what they loved on their way still. Sakura can be a medic even without fighting. Deidara can do art without fighting. And also Kisame, and they all three had enough and want peace, which they go twith their family of choice! this was such a ride and warmed my heart. 3 idk if you'll ever read this review, but you can be sure it will stay as one of ma fave fanfics. :)
Naruto has had so many issues which werent resolved, and who needs canon anyways. This last chapter is almost ten years old, but I think the characters are mostly better off than in canon xD and had a far more interesting journey anyways.

The part where she thinks about the scope being able to take pictures, but she still has to find out how to review them, is the part that hit me most. I reall was. My heart dropped, everything that happened until now, and I was like "okay he's giving her his scope, which is probably his only real possesion at the time and a pretty nice one at that." but now I think it's more like a diary if his life and i desperately want to know what pictures are on it, cause I can quite imagine. this hurt a lot :O
Ooohhhh, Neji is on it!

I loved that she realised the place she cme back to isnt her home anymore and she decided to return to Deidara. I think it was important she know Naruto had died, since I think her decision to get back to Konoha was probably one made with Naruto in mind, even if she always just said "her friends" I kinda see naruto as her dearest friend, the one she can relate to the most, they have gone through so many things together, and shared their adolescent years til their mid twenties, their friendship lasted a decade.
But I also feel, even if he had still been alive, she would have probably met up with him, and he would have been delighted he sisnt abandon her to death or something else. but he would have noticed her heartbreak and told her to go, told her to visit, or write a letter with her new home to so he could visit her. But I think he would have understood how she changed and how she needed to be somewhere else. :)
