It was such a slow, boring story. Adding in jealousy just to thicken the plot was also a mundane move. I couldnt get into it, liked the pairing, hated everything else.

When I read your A/N I had to come down here and write. I am bitterly dissapointed to see such an excellent writer retire from this website but I understand your reasoning. If I was in your shoes I wouldn't have been able to keep doing it either. Thank you for the laughs and all of the feels that your story has evoked, and once I finish this chapter I will definitely go to your profile to take a look at some of your other works. The community is harder off without an author like you. I hope that your life and work continue to bring you satisfaction.

But please allow me to be honest. I am very sorely disappointed by the ending of it. I know why it ended this way. But I just see so much more that could happen. All the potential in this story, and it's honestly heartbreaking to see it end in such an anticlimatic way. But still, I am so happy that it exists even though I am sad to see that it has to end like this. Once again I want to sincerely thank you fro the contribution you have made to the fanfiction community. And I'll be sure to check out some of your other stories, even though I know they will likely leave me just as heartbroken (if not more) than this one.

But one more thing. One of my favorite things in this story is that you didn't neglect Tayuya's strength. In far too many stories I've read, you see Naruto become close to an unstoppable force and those around him just stay on the same level they were before, or if they do improve it's by a margin that is barely noticeable. So the fact that Tayuya continued to grow and become a badass shinobi in her own right is easily my favorite thing in this story. One more time; thank you for this story.

Tayuya changed a lot over the chapters and while not all of it I felt was in character with the Tayuya in your story, it wasn't enough for me to say that she wasn't acting the way she was supposed to.

Really I have no fucking clue what the hell you're thinking here. Not only is there no history of shit like this in the Naruto story itself, even in regards to ordinary human history you're dead wrong. Look up the Sacred Band of Thebes.

This, and the AGONIZINGLY SLOW character development which is just now happening after literally YEARS are really pissing me off. I'm gonna finish the story, your prose is pretty good, and I have a soft spot for this pairing. But these sorts of things are throwing me over the edge. I understand as an author you're trying to keep everything in line and offer believable character development, but have some pity on your readers. We've now sat through 200k words of Tayuya and Naruto basically changing at a snail's pace. Their relationship has grown more in three chapters than in twenty. It's fucking awful to read about some unchanging bitch beat up on the main character when nothing was done wrong, it's almost out of character for both of them. It would be out of character anyway, if there wasn't so much slapstick with Sakura beating the shit out of him (which is apparently a cultural thing and played as a joke, you're taking the same thing and trying to play it straight and it's real bad).

Again, gonna finish what's left of this. It's not the worst Ive seen. But some of the details are just plain bad. I'm not trying to hate on you but reading through all of this at once has put me seriously on edge.
