Another year another comeback to reading this.

This was the first fanfic i ever read and is the fanfic that gave me a ship for Naruto as i hate every other one hahaha. I still remember picking it up when you came back after that 2 year hiatus and i remember checking EVERY DAY for an update and as soon as i saw one i would drop whatever i was doing and read it.

This will always have a special place in my heart and i want no-one but you to ever touch this story. In the off chance you ever come back to finish this i'll always be waiting haha its just that good!

As of this chapter, it's official. I like Tayuya! Sorry Hinata I'm rootin for Tayuya in this one!

I still remember when I began reading this story years ago, back when I was barely in high school; back when I barely knew that this site existed. I don't know how busy you still are - or if you even read your reviews anymore - but re-reading this entire story over again (something I otherwise never do even with professionally published works) has moved mountains in me, and there are thoughts I need to convey.

A long time ago, I spoke with an old pal of yours: Amrun. It was at the time of the story's first big hiatus, back when people were shooting you those asinine death threats. If you don't remember, that's okay. But I supported you then, and I'll support you now - even if you never actually realize it.

This was the first decent fanfiction story I ever read, and that's all part of what makes it my favorite. But the largest thing that made you my true Number One author here is what you are able to do with characters. Minor ones. Almost TERTIARY, depending on whom you argue with. Your ability to take a base concept of character that Kishimoto barely even LOOKED at and build it into something more real than anything in Naruto canon is a talent every artist covets to the extreme. Even if you never finished this masterpiece, you should feel proud with the legacy you've already got going here. I probably never would have started writing if it weren't for you, and I firmly doubt that I am the only writer you inspired.

I don't want to seem biased, but I liked absolutely everything about this story. Literally, apart from the inevitably occasional typo, the quality was New York Times. Magical world of ninjas notwithstanding, the characters were all real. They could all happen. None of it was cardboard. It almost greens me how you could seemingly do no wrong with wherever you went. When you made OCs, they served purpose. When you chose to make some canonical characters OoC, it was hilarious, and the ones that retained their original personalities felt exactly the way they should. I could dribble on and on about what makes this simple idea such a cornerstone on my writing career, but that would almost cheapen my message.

My main point is this. You are awesome, but you also have a life. Like so many of your other adoring readers, I cannot possibly bring myself to be bitter at you for your decision to bring down an early curtain, even though the possibility that Naruto and Tayuya will never finish their journey makes me very, very soul-sick. I also very tightly acknowledge how your loss of interest in the series can slacken your resolve to finish this, although frankly speaking, the characters and what's happening here were so much better that I barely even related this to the manga. Unlike others, I wouldn't even ask you to have the story adapted by someone else. This started as YOUR story, and no matter how talented any coming successor of yours would be, this story would never feel the same to me if I knew someone else was touching it. That's just how sentimental I am about this beautiful shit.

Ack... The more I write, the more it hurts, because the more I write, the more I have to think about what may never come no matter how badly I want it. I sincerely idolize this story, and as depressing as it sounds, it feels like I'm talking to a gravestone. No matter where I see her, it always seems as though Tayuya dies too young.

I hope that no matter what your aspirations are out there, they are giving you as much fulfillment as you've given us with your astounding wordsmithing. And if this is truly your goodbye for both this story and this site...

Back at it again with the dead fic

Damn. I read through this entire story very thoroughly. When I go to school, sitting on the train - I've read this story and got so into it that I missed my stop more times than I'd like to mention. But honestly, this is one of the best Naruto fanfiction stories I've ever read. At first when i saw this story I was a bit skeptical, Naruto and Tayuya are like the most paradox pairing I could've ever hoped to have imagined. But as I started reading this story, I instantly fell in love. I started off reading fanfiction from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and I started browsing and since I absolutely fucking love Naruto and Naruto Shippuden I decided to start reading Naruto fanfiction and I've been hooked. I can understand why you stopped writing, it gets stressful and having to constantly update and keep up with the level of writing that is expected is no easy task. Also, not being a fan of Naruto also kills the mood and enthusiasm to write and I completely understand. When I reached the end of this fanfic, I can't say that I wasn't disappointed that there wasn't a proper ending but life is hard, you can't always receive satisfaction.

Thank you for writing this story, it helped me see some things in a different light by reading about Naruto and Tayuya's growth. And I honestly can't thank you enough for that. Whether you actually read this review or not, I'd like to say thank you for blessing the world of fanfiction with your outstanding and phenomenal writing.

P.S. Being 22 also makes you have to do other things, not that I would really know since I'm not even 16 yet but it is very understandable. Once again, thank you.
