I think that calling this story hilarious is an understatement.

Between Kakashi realizing that his cute little genin have hitten puberty (and the world is doomed because NARUTO hit puberty), the scene where he and Asuma drown their sorrows and Kurenai's description of what happened with her team, I can't stop laughing.

Figures that Gai would show up, to make things even more absurd.

Fucking hilarious.

Haha. The ending is quite brilliant thanks to the appearance of Gai. That guy never fails to crack me up.

Every time I read this-and I've lost track of exactly how many times that is-I laugh so hard I cry. ESPECIALLY at the asexual amoeba Sasuke thing, jesus that's hilarious. :D

Oh the shudder. It really made me think it must be weird to see this child you teach become a teenager right in front of your eyes. Asuma really is protective of Ino. What he said about Ino chest is really funny though. And poor Hinata, passing out because of Kiba. But Sakura didn't really change much compare to Hinata and Ino, so Kakashi must be somewhat glad.

Honestly I prefer this as the inept-mentor, especially because I've been the Kurenai in this situation, and yes, it really is this hilarious! (If not as life threatening, these aren't shinobi kids after all) Very well written and the panicked uncertainty is captured PERFECTLY!
