Even as it stands, the best story i have ever read. The best. This is the story i always wanted to hear and you told it. If you ever find a healthy space where you can finish it, i will read it abd love it. But truly, I don’t ever have to have a finished story. You have such beauty in your writing, you have taken me on a journey and i have loved every second if it. This story came from a part of you. I’m so sorey for the heart break you have experienced. The Marriage Stone is for me The Best Story I have read. I return regularly every year at least twice or three times (partly in origin, partly in my native language – czech – Thanks to the wonderful translators :)) to read The Marriage Stone, and in between I listen to it on audio. It's a story that regularly attaches me with its lay lines to everything on Earth, awakening in me a belonging from which there is no escape. It has shaped my life and continues to shape it. I cannot find the words to describe, what MS means to me, and how much I need to experience its epic power again and again.

For all of this, thank you sooo much to you, Josephine Darcy, and those, who have influenced you in your life by writing The Marriage Stone. Thinking of/praying for you and your family.

Thank you for this gem. This is my first ever Harry/Snape pairing that I’ve ever read as my usual pairing is always Harmoine/Draco, etc. This was a beautifully written story and although not finished, I still enjoyed reading it and thank you for writing it. I hope you are okay with everything that has happened and my condolences for the loss of your loved ones.

I absolutely ADORED every single sentence of this fic. Beautifully written, entertaining, thought-provoking, and full of life! Your characters feel like real people, like there really could be a wizarding world out there that we just don’t know about yet! (or let’s hope not bc then old voldiewart would be real too.) I love Harry and Severus growing together, and after all their trials and everything they have been through, their romance feels so DESERVED. Ugh! So good! You had me literally dying when Severus decided to woo Harry.

I’ve reread this a few times now just because I love coming back and rediscovering all the plot elements and falling back in love with all the characters. This story is such a gift. Even if you never finish this story, I will continue to come back and fall in love with it over and over! Please don’t feel pressured by other comments on here, you have done quite ENOUGH just writing the gorgeous story you have. I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for such an interesting and thought provoking story. I hope you are doing better and you keep writing for yourself. I can’t believe it’s already 2023!

I am deeply sorry about your circumstances but I didn't realise this wasn't finished or I wouldn't have spent several days reading it, getting immersed in it only to be left in the lurch... sigh.

I'm so sorry for everything you went through, I wanted to tell you that I absolutely adore your story. It is very well built: characters, plot, descriptions, everything. I understand that you have not been able to continue it but I hope that at some point you will find the strength and enthusiasm to do so.
I understand why you didn't want to read other endings, but I can tell you that there are some really interesting ones, which largely respect the thread you were leading. You have inspired people, something wonderful and not so simple. And best of all, they have always given you credit for your story, it is something that gives me great joy because I have seen other people who steal works and pass them off as their own, not your story, they always leave copyright clearly, they respect you . I congratulate you and I hope you are doing better, my best wishes and I hope to read your work again (even if it is another story).

It’s amazing how well over a decade after I first find this, I still return to this story over and over and over. It’s so gorgeous, so moving. I loved meeting Severus’s family, I loved all the stuff at the Ministry, and the emotionality in literally every scene but especially where we got to see Harry and Severus‘s growing emotional intimacy. And a decade later I keep hoping beyond reason that you’ll finish it. If you had a patreon I’d be throwing money at you (to help keep those time consuming side jobs unnecessary so you could create more beautiful things!) Thank you for creating this. Even in its unfinished form I’m so happy it exists in the world.
