![]() ![]() ![]() I freaking love this... It's just so perfect! XD Thank you so very, incredibly, much for writing this. I loved every single second of reading it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh I do love Markl and Heen. They are so cute together, best of friends. I loved how he chose to stay with them instead of going back to Madame Sulliman. i personally liked the way you ended this. Just like in the movie, showing what happened, showing the happy ending was enough. I love the quote. |
![]() ![]() ![]() hehe between a rock and a hard place s exactly where they were at the beginning. Awe everyone likes when Sophie kisses, though besides Howl, I like Calcifer's reaction the best. I'm really rather excited for the epilogue. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Temporal paradox, sounds very sci-fi, and Doctor Who-ish. I loved reading/seeing this scene from his point of view and all the feelings that came with it. Even in the end, he had to make sure Sophie was safe. Only giving to unconciousness (?) after landing on the platform. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh Howl! So close! So very close to breaking Sophie's curse. But there's a reason hindsight is 20/20. You can see your mistakes and exactly what went wrong. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I rather like Howl's dream. Both he and Sophie are changing, the're good influences on the other. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh Calcifer, I do love you. He is more sensitive than Howl is. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love seeing into Howl's brain, especially when he had a complete hissy fit. Such a vain idiot. I do agree that he does look better with black hair than his original blonde hair. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Poor Howl, searching all over Sophie's home town for her, only to find her in his kitchen. It was interesting that he used the Witch's curse to distract her the sloppiness of both manners and surroundings. I had always thought he just sensed it in his pocket, but it probably is a bit of both. I like that you had part of the Sophie's curse being that he had to help her find her own self worth, which makes sense considering that's rather what happened in the film. Makes me wonder what Sophie would have done if Calcifer hadn't let her inside the castle. Sophie is a fast acting cleaning lady. |
![]() ![]() ![]() HEHE Calcifer is one sneaky and devious fire demon, getting Sophie to agree to break his and Howl's contract. I like how Howl's heart reacted to her even when in her curse form. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my goodness. You don't know how freaking excited this story makes me! I freaking love and own both the book and the movie that this is based on. I love seeing and reading about what might have been going through his mind when meeting Sophie and his conversation with Calcifer was rather insightful. Unfortunately Howl miscalculated what the Witch of the Waste would do to Sophie after he called her his girl. Though it was sweet that he called her that not caring who heard it. I had always wondered how the Witch knew about Sophie and how she knew about Howl, but this explains that perfectly. She heard heard him, and thought she found a way to get to Howl. |
![]() ![]() Beautifully done, including the small epilogue. This have been a wonderful read. :-) Thank you for sharing. x |
![]() ![]() I know this was written a while ago, but I've gotten this far and it would be cruel to continue without reviewing. I must say I love how you've written this. I know it's following the movie but your own injections of dialogue and Howl's thoughts are very well considered. I love his positively child-like cluelessness in this chapter, and I laughed out loud at his puzzlement when Sophie didn't thank him for her dress. It's all wonderfully executed. It's all nicely-paced and interesting to see the movie from Howl and Calcifer's point of view. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is magnificent! I've only just started, but I thought I would let you know. Absolutely brilliant |
![]() ![]() ![]() It took me way too long to find this story, but I'm glad I did. I enjoyed it so much. Well done :) |
