![]() ![]() ![]() I've just finished reading the last chapter of this storyline and I must say that it was a brilliant retelling of the adventure through Howl's point of view. There were a lot of original insights and scenes that you used to make this your own story while staying true to the characters and the screenplay of the film and it's obvious how hard you've worked on it to get it just right. Good job! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awww...I love this story! It's so sweet, and I will honestly never be able to watch the movie again without thinking of this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() man... I read all of this completely through and I loved it. I'd always wanted to read a version of Howl's Moving Castle with the wizard's perspective, and this was just great! Thanks for writing this, cause I completely loved it. :D |
![]() ![]() I really like the way you've written the story from Howl's point of view (so far anyway). However, I think you might find this website interesting: . . It's an analysis of the movie and it explains a few points that you might of missed. If your writing what Howl sees, you should be aware of what Sophie probably can't explain, like how she was able to see the witch's henchmen. I know you've already written 14 chapters but I guess it's just something to think about :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awwww! I loved it! I was thinking of doing one in Howl's point of view, but yours is too good, mine would suck! Hahaha! . |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow! This was great! Your portrayal of Howl was flawless, and you played all the other characters perfectly too! It was soo-o interesting seeing this interpretation of Howl's point of view! It's so frickin' believable and explains so much lol :) And it was incredibly enjoyable - never a dull moment! You have a great writing style; everything was described beautifully, but very to the point and didn't linger *too* long! I love that because I have such a short attention span these days lmao. Anyway, I'm so glad my cousin recommended this to me! Awesome work~! Macadamia |
![]() ![]() ![]() Like the interaction between Calcifer and Howl. Glad to see that Howl's beginning to get it... |
![]() ![]() ![]() The hair scene was one of my favourite moments of the film, and reading Howl's perspective just confirmed why (the contrast between Howl's melodramatic reaction and Sophie's calm response just cracks me up)...though I'm glad he accepted the change in the end. I found your explanation for the slime quite likely, too. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, so that's what he was thinking? Ah, Howl. You may have had good intentions but you don't quite get it, do you... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Another great chapter - the things you write really do feel like an extension of the movieverse, they fit so well. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved this chapter. I'm so glad you continued this story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() You're doing a great job with the characters. Ah, Calcifer... The last line was just perfect. Hehe... |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is a lovely beginning. I like how you get to see things from Howl's perspective - I've always wondered what he was thinking. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was one of the best Howl stories I've read so far! When showing Howl's inner thoughts, most people only use certain scenes, but I loved seeing everything through his eyes! Howl has a such a different perspective from everyone else and it's great how well you've shown that. Overall, this is a wonderfully written story! I love it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing! I loved the book and the movie but I always wondered what it would be like from Howl's view. Perhaps I see a sequel? Maybe Howl and Sohpie have a child who grows to be a wizard and has an adventure of their own. |
