funny thing is you could be sherlock holmes 2.0 {basically what the older versions of batman is as the newer versions have been relying more on technology to figure things out than their brain} but if you're missing a major piece of the puzzle {in this case batman doesn't know about the magical world} then no matter how good you are you're gonna get the wrong conclusion and in this case because bats doesn't know about the wizarding world he's drawn the wrong conclusion that harry due to his looks is his son
