![]() ![]() ![]() I liked this alot. Thank you for writing it and sharing with us. |
![]() ![]() ![]() My favourite chapters are: The Tonks' and Remus' house chapter This one (last chapter) The Fred, Remus, Tonks and Colin chapter Enough and Enough Part 2 (the seeing Snape and actually being friendly to him chapters) The chapter when Harry talks to the Veil. |
![]() ![]() ![]() God damn, this is amazing. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sometimes people portray James as such a little shit all the time. And that was true, to an extent. But I do love it when people give him redeeming qualities, like staying by Lily's side when she was grieving. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That last paragraph :'( I sometimes find that Tonks is written as rather ditzy, and you definitely walk that line. But I think it reads well. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I would have liked to see more of those who died in the war (though I suppose there are a few chapters left). But I like how connected to George Fred is. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Snape seems a little soft in this chapter. He gives in a bit too easily, and sometimes sounds a bit too much like James. But I love that his death gives him freedom, it's a wonderful contrast to James' comfortable death |
![]() ![]() ![]() Maybe not quite enough emotional payout (he does say it will be hard, but it doesn't seem to be). I do like the way time seems to have made all emotions softer (which lends legitimacy to how you've described death) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like that you have James question the nature of his contentment. It's interesting to think about which parts of his life he remembers most vividly, and how they affect the way he lives his death (eg. he was fighting a war his entire adult life, so maybe his version of death is in reaction to that). |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hmmm, the reunion fell a little flat. Not that I was expecting a big show of emotions, but Sirius did just die and he believed his brother was a traitor. Ending with "things work out" seemed to be too neat for this scene |
![]() ![]() ![]() AHHH. I love the Sirius/James love. Lily and James are watching over Harry, but also all their friends whom they left behind |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting snippets of what James and Lily's relationship could have been born out of |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like how you allow Harry to live close to death. He was born into death (parents died) and essentially grew up with the knowledge of death and abandonment. It's a part of who he is. Nicely done |
![]() ![]() Green Day, nice. Beautiful writing, truly poetic. |
![]() ![]() this is beautifully amazing. like, wow. all of the plot pieces were artfully woven together, and the way you described afterlife was perfect. james lily and severus becoming friends was another amazing part of this. the little snippets of news james and lily heard about harry and their reactions was brilliant. and lemme just say one thing... i feel SO sorry for fred but this was actual goals. Good job, i love this sososososssoosososos much |
