Hi! So I just binged this entire fic in the last week or so (or re-binged technically, its been a while) and I've got to say I love your writing style and entire plot! I think your writing has really changed since you wrote the camp stuff, but its such a pleasure to read your developed style. I'm so hyped for the ending of this fic, especially for the fluff, and I really want to see the resolution to the Chloe thing - how did she react? What exactly did her dad tell her? sooo excited. And I can't wait til someone hugs Alex! With his permission first, of course. Also, I don't know whether its because I'm sick right now or if its just me, but this chapter made me cry (just a little...) when Richard said that Alex bring placed somewhere else would break his heart - I don't know why that particular line broke me, but I loved it, just as I love this fic. Oh man I love the way you write! The careful discussions between Gilda and Richard, the calculation in Alex's actions - all of it!

I wonder if Alex will mention the last time someone wanted to adopt him, he was a super evil guy who had nuclear bombs and then committed suicide right after Alex's rejection. That'd probably be a hell of a conversation.

I'm so curious to the next chapter

Giving this a re-read and it strikes me that the ages of the students are off. If Alex was in the course the first time at age 14 and it has been a year (or more) they should be closer to 15/16 than 14.

Hurray they’ve figured Alex out! And I’ve figured him out finally after you wrote it out plainly (I’m a bit slow on the uptake) but the response he has to everything flows so well together and makes for a very very good read.
