HOLY COW. THAT WAS CRAZY. I actually prefer Rin's death here than to the one where she was captured to be the Sanbi's holder and then purposely killed herself on Kakashi's Chidori, because it's so much better that she started dating Kakashi and everything and then died not because she chose to, but because Itachi's crazy.

Wow. I didn't expect that. I guess since it's an outdated fic that it's that much more surprising, but...it's still good. I like this whole explanation, especially all the bad air that Itachi mentions randomly and the dango and everything...it's sweet, in a strange way.

This was a great story, it was touching and I almost cried! Poor Itachi and why did Obito, my favorite character, have to die? WHY?

I know the manga rendered this idea completely AU, but this made a LOT of sense. I love how you wrote it, layered it, made it so beautifully complicated while keeping Itachi's thought process so terrifyingly simple. Really chilling, really well-written. Amazing job.

And kaboom! Kishi suddenly decided that Madara had become fossils and Obito is truly the bad guy. Really bad guy. Wonder if Itachi knew it was Obito all along... yeah, i facewall-ed my self lately after reading Naruto newest chapters.

Kinda makes Sense...I wonder how Obito would feel about his story being taken so...literally...that Itachi idolized Obito and killed the clan that looked down on him.

Wow, this is simultaneously hilarious and tragic. On one hand, Obito changed the course of world history with some throwaway comments, on the other, he'd have hated the end result. I especially enjoyed the final scene, Kisame and Itachi's interplay normally entertains me.

This story is fantastic! It filled up a lot of gaps in the original plot. The potrayal of Obito's and Itachi's relationship is brilliant. Who would have taught that Obito would influence Itachi to such an extent. I love the way you came up with why Sasuke was named after Hiruzen's father. Ingenious really.

What started off as a bittersweet fic turned out quite creepy. This shows Obito in a new light, a new perspective. People don't exactly like to write about him much, it seems. Tragic characters are the most fun to write about in my opinion. And this fiction explores him a little more.

Also, I would like to write a fic based on this. This story really inspired me, thus, I'm asking for your permission. It's okay if you say no, I understand.

Wow! This, at the time it was written, was an amazing theory and even though that's not what happened it's still an awesome story! Really sad though. Seriously if I had read this when it first came out I would have thought it possible canon. Great job!

This is an amazing, touching story... I actually was crying a bit at the end, ha. I love the idea of Itachi and Obito having had a friendly relationship and the way you tied in Obito's innocuous advice with Itachi's massacre was so interesting. I particularly was impressed by the way you painted Obito's crushing sense of inferiority and how it fueled Itachi's indignation against the Uchiha and all those who failed to recognize his cousin for who he was. Great ending, too.

This is a great story, and really sad, in the way that what Obito taught Itachi became so different from what it started out as
