I started reading this story with a smile, began frowning around half-way through, and finished it with a bad taste in my mouth. All in all, this story did its job wonderfully! Although, I wonder what would have happened had Obito NOT changed the story...

My friend, you are they greatest writer on this side of fandom. I love how you showed Itachi evolve along the story from a child to a killer. You also played the card of Obito and Naruto sharing an insane amount of simalaritys. I've seen it used many times, but only in one sentence during a description of Kakashis Team 7 and its rare yo see it from the Obito side of the spectrum. Just bravo man bravo.

You have just broken my heart into a million little pieces. I have read some heartbreaking Uchiha fics before, but how the road to hell was paved with the best intentions here was something else.

Write more stories. You rock. Seriously.

...Wow. This is probably one of the best fanfics i have ever read, if not the best. You really have a talent for this.

This was amazing. I wish the canon had gone like this, it would have been much better than Itachi following Danzo's orders. You wrote Obito perfectly, immature but still yearning to be better and noticed. The four-year-old Itachi is a delight as well, and him plotting the destruction of his clan at such a young age? chilling and wonderfully in line with him being a child prodigy.

I liked that you had Obito training him and not always telling him the right things (even if you miss the target, it's still okay!) and changing a story around so that it actually becomes a little more gruesome. It's such a boys will be boys thing.

I'm sort of curious to how Kakashi would react to seeing Itachi in the Anbu- "Oh hey, you're that kid that spit in my eye." XD Rin's death was unexpected (though not undeserved, although that may be my hatred of crazed fangirls speaking) but made sense considering the way that Itachi sees the world.

All in all, really loved this story just for the story, the dialogue, and just Itachi's twisted logic that set the wheels in motion. Lovely.

This was something truly special. It was original, all the pieces fit together seamlessly, and the emotions and portrayals of the characters were close to perfect.

That was really good, I like it that Obito unwillingly contributed to the death of the Uchiha clan by inspiring Itachi.

This was wonderfully written. I love the concept that Obito had such a negative effect on Itachi- this fic really gives you something to think about.
