| kalmaegi chapter 1 . 1/21/2016
In which Cloud admits he's pretty fucking useless on everyday things for all his enhancements but Tifa still wants him home anyway so it all works out.
| KorNaXon chapter 1 . 5/22/2014
Lovely fic, short and intense, with well-written characters.
| KShiki chapter 1 . 3/14/2013
This was beautifully written. You captured the characters very well, and I could just picture each of the characters and what they were doing as I read. I really enjoy reading short blurbs like these, simple yet full of powerful effect on the audience.
Now. If you will please excuse me, I'm going to go to the hospital to consult a doctor because I don't think sweating through my eyes is normal.
| tomorrow4eva chapter 1 . 10/1/2012
Yes! I like this. Tifa is a strong woman and I think she keeps Cloud around because she knows how easily he can get 'lost'. Regardless of how you interpret her love for him, she does love him.
| Faye-Faye14 chapter 1 . 7/25/2012
Absolutely beautiful. I really enjoyed this, and I typically don't enjoy stories from Cloud's POV. They always seem strange or out of character, but you did a WONDERFUL job! :)
| ssssss123 chapter 1 . 12/18/2011
"And he is a kid. He shouldn't be, not really, he knows, not at his age, but he is. Despite all that's happened and all he's done, sometimes he still can't quite accept that he went to sleep at sixteen and woke up five years older."
YES. A THOUSAND TIMES YES. Not enough fics out there actually mention this. It's by far one of the most interesting points about Cloud and especially when considering his relationships with the women in the game. I know this is only a drabble, but I love that you wrote it.
| heylalaa chapter 1 . 9/5/2009
good read x)
| Moiranne Rose chapter 1 . 3/7/2009
Oh it's perfect, it's PERFECT. *gasps in amazement*
I was all "Yes Tifa! It's true! He's a meaningless, useless _(fill in choice profanity)_!" And then when the last bit came, I just stared at my computer screen and my jaw hit the ground. Then I jumped around for a bit and went to get my sister to read this too.
It was, like I've mentioned, perfect (the sister agrees). An accurate, if unflattering representation of Cloud and Tifa's relationship. The fact that Tifa doesn't need Cloud, but Love's a funny thing, so she'll keep him around, if not because of necessity, because of her own want.
Oh Love IS a many-splendid thing.
Well done my dear. Again.
Love and Cookies,
| Cloti22 chapter 1 . 1/26/2009
hehe very good read. ] i love the last paragraph the best
| Seelenspiel chapter 1 . 8/22/2008
a beautiful insight to Cloud's thoughts
| xLilly White chapter 1 . 4/10/2008
Aw! I love the pace in this. The short clipped phrases and the comfiness between the characters; the familiar problems that you'll run into when you live with a guy: even if said guy has saved the world twice et cetera, it doesn't mean he's learnt to flip the toilet seat back down like a good roommate. :D Really nice, entertaining read.
| With A Smile chapter 1 . 1/13/2008
Oh I love this story, even if it is a bit on the short side. You write so magnificently it just really warms the cockles of my heart. You explain Cloud wonderfully- this is going straight to my favorites!
| NRGburst chapter 1 . 12/31/2007
Great piece. I particularly like how you address those lost 5 years of his life, I've wondered about that myself.
| Taney chapter 1 . 12/21/2007
Awesome! That's how I like to picture Tifa - independent and self-assured. I also see her as a very warm-hearted character, but sometimes I feel that other authors (including myself!) can make her too mushy. Good job on this, as always!
