|Reviews for What Would Slytherin Harry Do?|
| SuperApplePie chapter 8 . 11/5
An interesting read. Definitely entertaining.
| Gioomm chapter 1 . 11/2
So once in a while (generally once every six months) I reread these oneshots, just for fun. I guess this must be the fifth or sixth time by now?
| RHJunior chapter 7 . 9/28
This is already starting to fail. Your version of Harry Potter isn't clever, or more importantly entertaining- he's just another immensely unlikeable Evil Little Shit, just like every other ever-so-edgy "Dark" version written of him in fanon.
And that's the problem. Canon, Harry routinely demonstrated that he was an innately decent kid, despite all the shit that came his way. Just becoming a Slytherin wouldn't automatically make him into this vicious little sociopath any more than becoming a Gryffindor would automatically make him fearless and noble.

| Born To Sleep chapter 7 . 9/16
Ok, this cleared up some misconceptions about this story's Harry-version.
Personally, i don't think that a Harry that gets sorted into Slytherin HAS to be a sociopath, but in an AU where he is one, it makes sense for him to be sorted there. What doesn't make sense is the fact he tried to save the little bird.
| Born To Sleep chapter 6 . 9/16
Sooo... people with low to no sefconfidence deserve to be bullied, don't deserve help, and can only redeem themselves in case they 'grow some balls'?
That's some crass part of the 'Let the weak rule over the strong'-Ideology, don't you think?
Even if that was supposed to be an attempt at reverse-psychology, that could have easily gone wrong.
| Born To Sleep chapter 3 . 9/16
Why exactly would Harry try to take out the competition? Are there any big benefits if he wins the thing (apart from the price of thousand galleons, I mean, which he doesn't really need)? Its not like they pose a real danger to him, even if not compared to the people who entered him in the first place.
Also, I'm pretty sure a potion which works as the opposite of felix felicis could easily kill someone. Krum could have died.
| Guest chapter 8 . 9/13
It was a good run while it lasted, alternating humorous, intriguing and impressively ingenious - and always entertaining.
| Guest chapter 7 . 9/13
Gotta love those "why did he do... or did he do it at all?" endings :-p
Still, excellent insights into the mind of S!HP :)
| Guest chapter 5 . 9/13
