| Reader chapter 3 . 1/23/2016
...this has got to be one of the saddest things I've ever read, and I've read a lot. Though what makes me more sorrowful and concerned than even this is the horrifically despairing mindset you must have been in to write this. Please don't take this the wrong way, but I will be praying for you.
| NemoChan320 chapter 3 . 9/22/2015
Omg...your last chapter just, broke me...I could not stop crying...Omg what happened to Raph was just so so horrible and emotionally scarring, and Donatello never left him alone, ever, he made sure Raphy made it back, even in death, and this was all just too much. Your story was amazing...honestly. I really hope Raph can recover from all of this...I'm going to go cry in a corner now...(but seriously, very well written story, I loved it, even if it made me cry my eyes out)
| Dead Hero chapter 3 . 11/15/2014
Oh my fucking god. This is AMAZING. I really, really, really, really, REALLY hope you continue this even though it's 'Complete'-d.
| Dragoandnikki chapter 3 . 1/26/2014
I'm so... inspired. And depressed, but still... inspired. Do you care if I write a fic like this one, not the exact same, just... the boys get transported somewhere... on the verge of death... that kind of thing.
| Kallasilya chapter 3 . 6/20/2008
Gack. This is the darkest fic I've ever read, and it packs one hell of a powerful punch. I can't imagine how Raph could ever go back to living a normal life, after all that...
| HaiJu chapter 3 . 6/17/2008
Good grief, how tragic. Dark, graphic and depressing, but extremely well-written. You made me cry, ya know?
| The Waiting Ninja chapter 3 . 6/16/2008
(tears well up in eyes)
This was simply beautiful. I thought the ending suited it well. It left me with a clear understanding of Raph's struggle with what he has been through as well as a somewhat happy ending. That is without the "...and they lived happily ever after" crap.
Well done. A lot of authors can't help but give the turtles a completely happy ending, like for example Don didn't really die it was all in Raph's head. However you stuck with your story and what terrible things that had happened and didn't wimp out. Congrates!
| Elsiah chapter 3 . 3/15/2008
That. Was. AMAZING.
I have absolutely nothing left to say.

| ArmoredSoul chapter 2 . 3/7/2008
C'mon guys, this isn't funny anymore!
| ArmoredSoul chapter 1 . 3/7/2008
Don't you DARE die on me, turtle-boy!
Don't you DARE!
C'mon baby, BREATHE!
| Aeryn Lavanthia chapter 3 . 1/27/2008
Exceptionally crafted and engaging, this story is a true example of how good writing can be. I know this story will stay with me for a long time. Well done.
| Hack.Drawer chapter 3 . 10/7/2007
Powerful. Really. This is a morbidly beautiful story. Thanks for sharing it!
| vashsunglasses chapter 3 . 8/10/2007
This is one of the most stunningly shocking things I've ever read. I am overwhelmed and spent the entire time read this curled up in my chair quivering and whimpering. I'll never be able to look at their near miss in the movie the same way again, that's for sure...
| Tidy Kestrel chapter 1 . 8/8/2007
When I saw the movie, and that scene where Splinter was confronting Donatello about acknowledging his brothers' individual strengths and weaknesses, I thought about it, but I didn't think about it that deeply. But this really delved into the complicated inner workings of the family and how they need each other to function. And the relationship between Donatello and Raphael (or really any other than the one between Raph and Leo) was tragically brushed over in the movie.
Really touching, heart-breaking stuff. Good job!
