*happy dance* An update. The way Methos kept messing with Jake was just too cruel (and awesome). I figured another Immortal would be the way Methos' game would end up interrupted.

I like this one. I don't see Methos as being a guy who tips his hand easily, but seeing something new after a few thousand years, a brand new puzzle to solve, might indeed be enough to draw him out.

I liked Jake's reaction.

"This wasn't his social science teacher telling him he should learn to have fun and play with kids his own age. This was a smart observant man telling him that his cover had holes in it. And there wasn't any way to ask about it without compromising security even more."

I wonder if he will contact SGC about this security breach immiediately (as he should) or if he will wait so he can determine more details. I hope you write more of this one.

A very intriguing and original start so far, especially for a HL/Stargate crossover. So is Jack on vacation as a student then and will he revert back to his true age or will this change be permanent? Also, will Duncan or Joe be making an appearance or do they not know where Methos is after Adam Pierson's death? Looking forward to more.
