I had the random urge to re read this and i have to say this is one of my favourite stories of all tim, one of the ones that really got me into fanfiction if i remeber right. I would love to see a sequel if thats possible. Great work

Your writing style is very smooth, easy to get lost in. I like that in a story, it's better to actually immerse in and see.

Immortal methos is now a system lord.
This is a good deal for the earth and the US government.
They now have an allied System lord who might just supply them with ships and technology just for the hell of it.
And little jack is his first prime.

I hope you have this as a continuing story arc.

A very interesting concept

This was just hilariously, outrageously amusing to an epic decree. I am still laughing. Methos as a system lord? Totally awesome. I would love to see what he can do 20 years in the line.. no thousand years on the line. :D

One thing I'll point out Dr Lam didn't come into the series until Hammond was dead and O'neill was a Lt general in charge of homeworld security.

If hammond and Col O'neill are to be involved you don't have much wriggle room.
You only have series 7 for this to happen in as jack become a general at the start of series 8.
