Phew.

Dripping with angst, was this one. I was rather alarmed that 'doom voice' made an appearance, so early on... but I have to say, I do think it was right. I mean, losing Nine and then watching Cassandra having to choose to die did kinda force the issue. Still, I'm vair glad you slipped the joke in at the end, hehe.

Also, all the lovely TenRose-ness really does fill my heart with joy. :D

Heh. It's always rather odd to get an alert for a second chapter, only to realise you never got one for the first. Though I sposed I should be glad I got an alert at all...

Anyway. Yesh. Awesome start! I must say, I've been terribly excited about this new little series. Almost alarmingly so. And it's lovely to see that so far - um, bearing in mind this is only the first chapter - it has lived up to my expectations...

All the emotions in this bit were spot on. Post-regeneration is a huge thing to cover, but I think you did it really believably, showing both sides of the transition and whatnot. Ohh, and lovely lines like, "It’s good to hear that sound again; better to know that he’s the one behind it." really rang true.

Also, I must thank you. The bit, "He grins down at her adoringly." had me both squeeing and wanting to clap. Because it's exactly right! It's an adoring grin. Can't believe I hadn't thought of that before, but I thank you for alerting me to it, lol.

And I'm now going to read on, because this is only the first chapter and this review is already hideously long...

Yay, great chapter. So very angsty, but that last crack about the Cassandrs kissing just gave it that much needed level of lightness that diffused the tension very well. Love it and i can't wait for more.

Love this. I've been eargerly anticipating this sequal and it's already fantastic. Love the whole tentacle subject. Halarious. So...i'm just gonna read the next chapter now.
