Daphne probably thought he was a rapist or something.
| Dawn96 chapter 1 . 4/11/2012
Beautiful- short yet beautifully written!
| RandomDream chapter 1 . 10/5/2008
| Gray-Rain Skies chapter 1 . 1/29/2008
I love Ovid's work. And I think you've really done this myth of his justice - it was beautiful and compelling and wonderfully written. Great job.
| Scarlet Four O'Clock chapter 1 . 7/14/2007
Wonderful drabble. You can get a real sense of Daphne's fear and heartbreak. I hope you write many more stories like this.
| The Fuzy Llama chapter 1 . 6/10/2007
ah... a lovely little drabble. The way you write it adds flesh and bones to the old greek mythology and near gives it a new life of its own. My dad is a college professor who teaches a Greek Mythology class and he liked your story when I showed it to him. He was wondering if you had intended it to be 300 words or not... But now he knows what a fanfiction is, so I'm very happy. _
| Gwinna chapter 1 . 6/9/2007
That's really beautiful. I for one wouldn't mind if you wrote countless more of them. :D Good luck on your exams.
| kazfeist chapter 1 . 6/7/2007
This, and his Pygmalion, are, perhaps, two of my favorites. The imagery of Galatea's skin 'melting' into flesh like wax in the sun is just lovely, don't you think? Good luck on your exams, btw. :D
| Rose of Zakarisz chapter 1 . 6/7/2007
Beautiful story, very well written and the descriptions are perfect for the minds eye. _
