I’m pretty sure this was the first fanfic I ever read after searching for Anidala stories yeeeaaars ago. It’s literally one of my favorite one-shots. This, and your other Star Wars stories, set the standard for me when I first starting reading fanfiction.

This was such a beautiful story, with a very original plot. It's a little tragic to think that Anakin & Padmé would have been probably happier if she had refused his proposal but so interesting and lovely ! A really awesome OS !

It's very interesting to read this "What if?" because if Padme had actually done that, denied her love. Then that turn of events, probably would have prevented Anakin from going over to the dark side, because the impetus would no longer have been there.

The irony of Padme's words during the reunion scene is killing me. She thinks that it would have been so much better if she had just admitted to Anakin that she loved him instead of putting them through this torture... whereas, of course, we know to the contrary...
