Ahh Dx Why is L such a sweetheart? Better to guilt trip or ensnare Light though so whatever. Also, Miss is seriously mean. Light fearing for the lack of oxygen his lungs were not receiving and L parrying Misa's lame snipes with aplomb was funny.

Poor L, and that innocent cake. Light sure is touchy, surely they could just have a mini fridge or pile of snacks by L so he didn't have to walk to the fridge and deal with Light's pettiness? Also, since the cake fell, L is still hungry, depriving people of food is horrible, and Light is a freaking bully.

Getting to see how Light analyzes L is completely fascinating because I don't think like this so it is interesting to get a taste of what it is like for people who do think like this. Also, it is funny whenever L seems to get one over Light because I have dubbed Light an asshole in my head. The comparison of literally loading the ammo Light has on L so he can kill L is just one of many crazy Light antics that reinforces my belief. Him imagining torturing L with no one the wiser was humorous in a dark way because it was ridiculous and Light is seriously messed up... Their mutual hatred and also draw to friendship is seriously sad to watch but it makes me want to keep watching as well.

Damn, I'm just going to be plagued with conflicting feelings and hurt and wanting to give comfort and yelling each chapter aren't I? You play with emotions well, good writing haha

This was an intense heart pounding chapter, it startes lighthearted ish though I was not pleased with Light teasing L like that plus, visiting the mall in a mask seems like such an embarrassing and bad idea. Every reminder of L's shitty childhood was like a punch in the gut and I was nervous the whole time that they would encounter bad people and they did. The fight sequence was nicely choreographed and horrible in a helpless way, I'm glad Light stayed to help instead of letting L die, it was tragic watching the whole thing play out and seeing Light's conflicting thoughts. Most exciting chapter so far.

I forgot to add in my previous review, but still applicable to the overall story as well that the dialogue between Light and L, and thought behind Light's deceit is fascinating to follow, nice job! Yay for L POV in this chapter :D I would be annoyed at Matsuda because he doesn't actually seem remorseful, no apology and no offer to replace damaged property or anything, I hate dealing with irresponsible people like that.

It seems tiring to be so devious but geniuses have more brainpower to spare. Also, I sort of want to clock Light lol.

While this story is great and all, and forgive me if you plan on explaining the flaw in the storyline later on, but if Misa has the eyes and both she and Light have their memories, then why doesn't Light just ask Misa what is L's real name instead of stressing out ways to find out his name? Just curious. Overall, good story so far.
