I know it's been a long time since this story was published, but I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it.

Your writing style is absolutly wonderful and your characterization of all the characters is great. I love the imotional tension between L and Light/Kira is very well done.

I also really admire your plot and all the twists you had it take. They were very thought out and made for a very wonderful story.

The only constructive critisism I have is this: Because you allowed Misa and Light to still be Kira and for Misa to still have the Shinigami Eyes, for L not to die, Misa should never be alowed to see L's face. But in your story, she does see his face. Ex: in chapter 8 and then in chapter 9 Light thinks of using Misa's eyes to see the name of the shooter so he can kill him with the Death Note.

Besides that one thing, this was over all an excelent story and I thank you for taking the time to write such a fantastic piece of literature.

im feelin L right now. i have frickin laryngitis and it SUCKS! i cant say a damn thing. plus a 3 week old cold still going strong.

I would have liked to meet Light family in this story as his father wasn’t in team.

This was really interesting story. It was well written, characters were portrayed realistic and liked plot. I am definitely going to read sequel.

And after that Aizawa and Matsuda several times called Ryuuzaki by name L.

You never mentioned Light father but I really wish you have done. It also makes one wonder how much different Light’s background is from canon.

In one of previous chapter you mentioned that L was taken away from his parents’ custody when he was four but in this chapter L says he was taken away when he was five. That and also if am not wrong you have mentioned that L meet Watari when he was seven but now that he is was eight.

I must say that I expected something like that when L told a bit about his childhood.

I don’t have very high opinion of Yagami Light. That “prank” he played on L was utterly cruel and not only to L but also to Tana. Thought I am trying to remember that Light is not only Kira but also teenage boy.

Kamiko seemed only female in that beach with sense and taste. L in the Death Note movies is hotter than Light. Also in anime he is drawn as quite good looking character.

Oh I liked scene with broken eggs and one little turtle who survived.

I have read only few Death Note fanfics and you are first who addressed issues of L bad posture. Scoliosis could explain his posture. I personally think he might have Asperger syndrome or Autism.

Light was bigger and much heavier then the anorexic detective.

Anorexic? Did you mean “thin”? Anorexia is mental illness/eating disorder and not synonym to “thin”.

Loved so much this chapter. For this chapter alone this story goes to my favourite list!

I like how this story is told. I just have to say that L seems a bit OOC (or at least different than I have imagined him) but you have done great work explaining his background, insecurities and emotions so I can’t complain. I actually like this L very much.

very interesting approach to DN... Light having split personality is the only reason L remains alive... otherwise he wudnt hv given up being Kira too easily... evn if L gets him to confess somehow and forces him to b under L's control for the rest of his life instd of executing him, it wud b really really hard for dat to work out vthout some serious fighting... lik L says he enjoys power too much and ders his pride als... though am thankful he's still somewhat close to his sadistic nature doling out verbal taunts evn after tryin to kill L els he'lb too OOC...

bt d way u'v written d internal battle btw Kira and Light is fantastic! cud easily imagine him crushing L wen he undermined L's stability in front of the team and b4 he almst killed him...dats xactly how Kira will lash out...

regardin L... i wud say he ws OOC at times except u giv a vry convincing xplanation, nobdy cn b a stone statue to such an extent dat dey continue working year after year vthout d walls tearing apart finally... hs backstory ws nicely done and dont thk he'l fall apart cos of just anyone...oly Light wud hv been able to do dat... intellect plays an imp part and basically dey thk alike... dats y Light ws hs first ever friend i thk... als its more a matter of interest dan justice dat draws him to cases though once he gets hooked he isnt d type to let go of his convictions... den again him willing to risk evrythn cos he feels Light is something i can see him doing(and wch hv been done in mny later fics)...

one last thing... d absence of Light's father and Ryuk! Rem i cn understand cos Light dint own a deathnote (gud thing too esp since she wud hv figured out Light's plans) bt Ryuk? don thk ur plot wud hv worked out if Light's father ws der...esp wen deir supposedly gay relationship ws revealed...wish u hd mentioned artistic license or sumthn, lik u did vth Light's memories...

This is the best story I've read about Light and L! I love how there was a "Kira" and a "Light"! I wish this was how the real story was! Excellent! Loved it!

To review this entire story I must say I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, it was an amazing story and I love how you portrayed every character in great detail. I also loved the ending, genius how you made it so subtle as to what L was telling Light, basically that he loved Light it seemed to me.
