| WolfDaughter chapter 9 . 1/25/2012
Love this story! Gotta admit I wouldn't mind seeing a reunion between between Chris and Hannibal. Think you might write it?
| PrettyArbitrary chapter 9 . 1/15/2011
Apparently I never reviewed this, even though I've read it three times now. Must be because I couldn't think of anything good enough to say about it.
This is the kind of brilliant, off-the-beaten-path story that I adore. I love seeing Hannibal from an outsider's POV. I love meeting Chris and seeing how his (I assume not her) life is changed a little by this encounter. I love how you work the line between what the characters know and what the readers know and how it forms this secret world that allows us to appreciate what Chris saw, and missed, and merely brushed up against, as well as the double entendres in Hannibal's speech (Hannibal's so spot-on) and the private meanings behind his absences and knowledge.
It's one of the best stories I've read. Part of me wishes for a sequel to this, because I'd rather enjoy seeing Chris meet the others, but I think it's perfect the way it is. Thank you for writing it!

wow, so normal but so deep!
| Cushion chapter 9 . 10/23/2010
Short and sweet. I really like this. Very nicely written and nicely concluded.
| Tanigi chapter 9 . 3/18/2010
I really, really liked this. Wonderful use of dramatic irony, and you nailed Hannibal. I would love it if you wrote a sequel where Chris had to use the card and ask for help.
| Susan217 chapter 9 . 7/15/2008
Beautifully written. Fabulous. Helluva story.
| amybeth chapter 9 . 6/16/2008
I just keep coming back to this story. It's well written and the characters come to life beautifully. Keep writing!
| koolkame chapter 9 . 10/30/2007
Sorry I wasn't one of those supporting you, but this was another excellent story. The symmetry of the beginning and end with "One of the resons" was a nice touch and the overall plot reminded me a little of a friendship I had with an older co-worker that served as a mechanic in Vietnam. Add that to Chris being writer and I almost felt like I was in the story.
Not a smoker, though.
| Allison chapter 9 . 9/17/2007
I love your fics- they are always such a delicious pleasure to read.
I think you captured Hannibal *perfectly*- he was as real as real.
| Lily chapter 9 . 8/9/2007
Terrific story, it was a great read. It was nice to see a very different side of Hannibal, alittle more relaxed and at home, interacting with someone other than the team, or scumballs. I love that it ended with Chris never knowing his true identity. Everyone's got a story, some are maybe more exciting than others but it's quite often that we never see the full story of the people we meet.

| smithcrafter chapter 9 . 8/2/2007
I liked this. It'd be interesting to see a sequel. The writer goes looking for that promised help and finds out who his friend really is.
| Wildfire's Flame chapter 9 . 8/1/2007
Interesting. I liked it. Made me wonder though if Chris ever gets to know the rest of the team . . .
| HecateTriformis chapter 2 . 7/27/2007
I like this story. Your writing style is very good and it's nice to meet an original character once in a while. I like him.
| camerabugs chapter 1 . 7/26/2007
What a wonderful story! I loved it. I hope you keep writing because you did a great job.
