I've reread this fic over and over for so many years and it never fails to make me sob. It has left an indelible mark on my brain, and some parts in particular come back to me at random times, like poetry. It's fucking beautiful and a masterwork and a million other things. But. Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you for writing and sharing this. I'll never forget this fic or your writing style. My #1.

Wow, that hurt. Even knowing it would end that way, my heart is still getting squeezed. At first I doubted the intellectual portrayal of Axel. By the end I adored the snarky/ingenious voice. Plus my vocabulary has expanded by like seven words. The Spanish at the end was a nice touch too.

Well, now the there is some hope that a form of Axel and Roxas will reunite in KH3.

This is simply breathtaking. Your writing style is so vivid and poetic, combining words and metaphors in ways I never would have been able to come up with in a thousand years, each more incredible than the last. The tone was poignant and bittersweet, and your portrayal of Axel was simply exquisite.

re-read in honor of 8/13; this is still my absolute favorite fic of all time, any fandom. the level of ability you achieve here is enviable, is heart-breaking, is astounding. worthy of awe. i miss your writing and, more importantly, i miss you. i hope life is treating you well, old friend.

I was afraid to read this piece for a ridiculously long period of time because I knew it would break my heart, and now it has and gosh, I am literally crying like a waterfall as I write this. Still, I'm glad I finally gave in to this story because it is just as beautiful as it is tragic. So yeah, thanks for writing it.

Hi. I know a lot of people have said something along these lines already, but I'm actually tearing up right now. The way you write is so evocative; it touches places, dark, quiet places, we all visit but seldom remember. Somehow, these feelings are real...
All of this from a fanfic. Honestly, I'd be the last person to admit it.
On the off chance that you actually still check updates on this account, which I tend to doubt, please tell me if you plan on writing a novel (or if you've already been published. That seems entirely possible). I'll end with that, seeing as I'm incredibly in articulate at the moment (For that, I apologize).

P.S. Do you by any chance like Catch-22? I've read a few of your stories and Heller seems to be an influence somewhere...Just curious. But yeah, like I said, you'll probably never read this. So there's that.

Dang, ouch. I was recommended this story by an author friend, and found it very much worth my time! Your prose is stellar, I love the banter between the characters, and though canon has moved on and invalidated some of the plot points, this is still a lovely story of it-just-sort-of-happened romance between two people who maybe shouldn't have fit together but somehow did, for a little while.

This story is amazing. I love the attention to detail and it fits with the characters extremely well. I truly enjoyed reading this, great job.

Thank you for breaking my heart {and I do type this in all seriousness. My friends tease me for my addiction towards sgories best labeled tragedies}. It's so surreal reading a story from before 358/2 Days, BBS, or DDD. No Xion, no further explanation; everything's your own interpretation. And you deciohered it wonderfully. You translated it in an even more beautific way. So many aspects of just pure beauty. This will forever be in with my favorite stories. Thank you for taking those three months to write this.
