-Kun is only boys. (Tohru is Tohru-kun because "Tohru" is a boys name) (Example: Sasuke-kun, by everyone who knows him)

-San is both boys and girls, used if you do not know the person well or want to have extra formality. (Example: Sakura-san, by Lee because he does not know her well)

-Sama is people you believe to be higher in rank than you, like a lord or king. (Example: Orochimaru-sama by everyone in the Sound; Tsunade-sama by everyone in the Leaf)

-Sensei is for teachers (Example: Kakashi-sensei, Gai-sensei, Asuma-sensei, Kurenai-sensei)

-Sempai is for people above you, like in school (Example: Yuki-senpai, by the first-years; Sakura-senpai, by Sakura when she's teasing Ino in a filler episode)
