Amazing story... Read it for the third time although I have to admit I came back the second time only to find the names of the Spanish songs... Love the language...
Seriously though loved this story every step of the way including all your OC's

Really great series, obviously well thought out. loved your storyline even if it was sometimes a little confusing as to wether we were in the past or future. definately on my list of favourites!

I just stumbled across this fic and found it totally absorbing. It was amazing.
For me a good writer has to transport me into the story. I'm there in the scene, I can see the characters, how they move, their facial expressions and body language, hear them talk and see the sights, sounds and smells in their sourroundings. (Hope that makes sense.)
This fic had me right there with them from the first few lines. And once I started reading I couldn't stop. I loved how you weaved the past with the present.
The scenes between the characters we amazing. Scene with Flack and his father was wonderful, so powerful and I have to say you captured Flack's hurt and anger perfectly, just as you captured all the characters emotions in every scene.
This fic was a rollercoaster ride for me, I laughed, I cried, felt anger and outrage, hated Flack's father, and wondered how the hell a mother could allow her child to be treated this way.
Even now a few hours after reading this fic, little scenes keep popping into my head and playing out. (Had to come back to review as was up all night reading it. Needed a couple hours sleep first, sorry.)For me this is a sign of a great story and a great author.
Loved the scene at the end with Stella and Don dancing with their unborn daughter. Very moving.
I am very sad to see this fic end. And I for one would be more than happy to see and read a sequel. It would be nice to meet the baby girl. Anyway thankyou for this fic it was wonderful.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your stories! Fiesta is my favorite, and I hope you haven't given up on them even though the show is going in a different direction.
You are a brilliant writer, and I thought after reading this story at least a dozen times in the last few months, I should finally write a review.

Wow! This story was just wonderful all the way through. Loved the juicy possible background for Flack and the character development you had for him through the course of it. This story just had some of everything; at times it was sexy and tender, and then it was tense and had a heart-pounding mystery we were trying to figure out. It always had me wanting more at the end of the chapter. I liked how you slowly built and developed Flack and Stella's relationship too. Just WOW. Super job!
| Miss Poisonous chapter 16 . 7/24/2008
Wow...that was just...amazing. I am in awe. I can't believe the detail and thought and absolute care you put into this - with this dedication and talent you could easily write a novel. The story was so intricate and beautifully woven throughout, constantly surprising and still keeping in with the elements we all wanted to see! You showed different sides of every single character, even with characters you managed to inspire so much hate for, you still showed a side of humanity to them that made them real. I feel like this whole fic WAS real - I haven't been a CSI NY fan for very long so I don't know much about their backgrounds, but I feel like this IS Flack's background. It was so beautifully crafted and carried off throughout; you've created a real world here, and all the good, bad and beautiful that goes with it.
I loved the lighthearted beginning and the mystery you managed to string out about Eugenia and whether she was a good person or not. I loved every single little mention of Fiesta you gave us - his admiration of her, her thoughts on him, their dancing (melts in a pile of fangirl sighs) - I even loved Flack Snr abusing Stella in front of Danny and Don. Perhaps especially, because I loved that he knew how Don felt about her, and could see her heritage, and could see their relationship for himself. As much as his wretched eyes would let him, anyway. Of course, Don's little speech about her was just...melty, heartwarmy, shivery amazingness.
That last chap was especially wonderful. That little snippet of humanity we glimpsed in Flack Snr was beautifully done, and the way it was gone as if it had never been the next second. It made his actions and words so much more powerful. I must say I didn't expect him to shoot himself...I feel like he deserved worse but I don't know what would be worse. Jail's too temporary, and we couldn't have Don shoot him, for Don's own sake. So I don't know, but it seems unjust somehow that he got to pick his own way out.
LOVED the scene between Stella and Danny - their relationship is almost never explored and you did it just perfectly. I liked Danny's opinion on Flack's dad's death. And just his way of talking - 'that lovely ass of yours' - it's awesome. The interaction between her and Mac was really nice too. I liked his little insert of protectiveness.
The way you wrapped it up, with her going through his bookshelves again, was neat and lovely. The fact that you've built a whole foundation beneath them made the slightly clichéd ending believable, and very fitting ;) This is why we need more multi-chap Fiesta fics around here! The mention of their friends always wanting to have dinner at their place was fabulous! A little strange about Max being Don's real dad.
Finally I loved this line: 'It had become ‘their’ song ever since they had danced to it on that fateful evening when she had come bearing the files from the Navarro case and he had finally overcome his fear of touching her.'
I write long reviews when I've found a lot to be impressed with, so I think you've gathered my thoughts on your fic :) The intricate universe you've created behind these characters is truly stunning - congrats on a real achievement. I really, really enjoyed reading this, and hope you'll someday do more like it! Be very proud of this work.

| Aranna Undomiel chapter 16 . 10/30/2007
This was an absolutely captivating story. I didn't quite know what to make of it at first, but somehow I couldn't stop reading it and it turned out to be a good thing I couldn't because I would've missed a lot of thrilling moments and some great writing.
Loved reading this, you're a very talented writer. I hope you'll write more (Flack centered) stories soon ;)

Enjoyed the story and great finale. :)
| Old stuff of Mine chapter 16 . 9/30/2007
This fic is amazing! However being a type-a nerd I have to point out that at one point you wrote 'neither Laura nor Don Flack (Sr.) had blue eyes as if that meant their son couldn't have blue eyes but he could b/c brown eyes are a dominant gene which means that each of his parents could have one blue eye gene and one brown eye gene and still have a brown eyes but they could, potentially each pass down one blue eyed gene resulting in a blue eyed child. Sorry about that. Things like that are just my pet peeve...
| TheGummiBear chapter 16 . 9/3/2007
Well, there's my morning gone! Don't think I've ever read the whole of a fanfic that was that long! Beautiful and compelling story... I love it!
