|Reviews for Rooms: An Allegory|
| gardenlady1 chapter 1 . 5/29/2012
This story is beautiful. I have read it over and over and enjoyed it thoroughly every time. It is well written and the metaphor rings true. It is favorite of mine.
I don't know if you continued watching the show until the end; I personally gave up around season six. But in the final episode, we Hameron fans get the last word in a fashion.
It would be amazing to see this written again with the perspective of the entire show. It would be quite a project, I'll admit. But we might be able to see more of an ending as she chips away at that wall.

This was really good. I really liked Cameron's and Stacy's rooms. They were perfect. I'm not so sure about Cuddy's room. Overall, a great work. Took me two read-throughs to get it all, lol.

That story was amazing. It was written so well. You are a fantastic writer. I love the style. Very imaginative and creative. I really enjoyed that story. Thankyou so much. I can't express how brilliant that was. I particularly like the janitors closet that was plastic and wasn't very real. That was a really deep part. I really enjoyed that story. It was amazingly excellent. Thanks, ] Lisa

This is really beautiful. I love how the garden room, which i am pretty sure represents Cameron is shown over time and especially the brick wall and then at the end the sledge hammer, maybe House could get in after all. Well done, Jules.

Well, this one is really beautiful! I'm usually not any good with allegories of whatever kind, but even being idiot as I'm, I love it so much

How right you are JB!
I really hope that sledgehammer is going to be used asap!
thanx for the allegory
P.s. we should maybe kindly ask David and Katie to step inside one of those room, lock the door and throw away the keys! ; )

It took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out who was which room and who David and Katie represented, but once I got it I loved this story! I love how you used the metaphors and symbolization (well actually, the rooms representing different people is really more of a metaphor than a symbol I guess) and the details and stuff; it was great! :D

You constantly churn out these wonderful fics that astound and astonish me in the best possible way. I adored this so much! :D
| Witchy-grrl chapter 1 . 6/27/2007
This. Was. Brilliant! OMG, I think you captured each of the season's twists and turns and general stupidity when it comes to each of these pairings absolutely beautifully! And, of course, the ending just made my little House/Cam shippy heart (RIDICULOUSLY small now, but still there) just grow that little bit bigger. ;) I LOVE IT!

oh my goodness! that was frikin amazing! I loved it! i absolultly love this type of writing where you actually have to think. :D
| GabbyAbby chapter 1 . 6/27/2007
the images you show in here are beatiful, i can see every room clearly in my mind. I can see how House acts towards each one of them and how they seem to impact Wilson more, maybe because he isnt use to it.
But to say i'm slightly confused would by who David and Katie symbolized... lol I guess I'll just have to read it over a few times... I never did like Poe that much... haha
But just to make sure I got it right... the room that was destroyed was Stacy, the one that wasnt finished was Cuddy, and the tiled one that was being taken appart at the end Cameron.. right?
As always I loved it!

Okay, I think I figured this out... David and Katie are Shore and Jacobs? And the metaphor is describing what they have done to the show each season, good and bad? If so, you are dead on. I like the part where House wishes they'd finish one room already. GAH.
Shore and Jacobs are on my hit list...I don't understand why they are so stupid...don't they understand that fans watch the show b/c we like it, and not because we want it to change or because we want to watch an annoying cop ruin half the season and icky C/C get it on for another quarter of the season?
Fans like to have an entire season of good episodes, not just one-fourth. UGH.
