|Reviews for Underdark|
| arianshifter chapter 4 . 1/18/2008
You have most really and truly completely rocked my socks off. Woah.
It had to take a lot of brainpower to even imagine the scenes Leo and Mikey went through, let alone describe them as well as you did and from Mikey's point of view. Many, many kudos.
| Trinilee Greenleaf chapter 4 . 1/15/2008
I loved this fic from beginning to end! You have an excellent writing style, an amazing talent! :0 I do hope another mikey fic will be coming soon..hehe
Anyway, loved it! keep writing!
| Sera and Tails chapter 4 . 1/10/2008
Awesome. I've loved the TMNT toons for ages, but have only now started looking through the fandom. I thought I would be scarred for life from some of the fic I came across, but thankfully I came across this lovely, totally normal fic. You had me alternating between being on the edge and laughing right out loud. Great job!
| nukagirl chapter 4 . 12/23/2007
Wow! this was beautiful, I nearly cried in same parts. Well done, I also loved this cos it showed another side of Mikey
| wlk68 chapter 4 . 12/17/2007
This? Was awesome. Very nicely done. Great plot, well written, good characterization. I look forward to reading more of your Ninja Turtles stories in the future.

aw what a great story it's got action agast and brother love! Wonderful story! :)
| TreeStar chapter 2 . 11/6/2007
Wow. This is just the greatest angst story i've ever read in this section. It's so amazing that you can think up so much interference in finding the way out of a tunnel while injured. You must have planned it out very carefully, there are so many ideas you have. Your setting for the latter part of this chapter, with the beam and the whole and the grate and the crumbling wall was very clear, and by keeping it dark, i pretended that i was in the dark, too, and felt the grate and the wall and everything to make it VERY real. Darkness makes other senses so active that pain must be wildly severe down there for them.
I am so excited about going on to the next chapter that i can't wait! i have to read it now!
| TreeStar chapter 1 . 11/5/2007
Brilliant. This is such a rare treat for this section because it deals with a big brother/little brother bond, which i love, and it's in Michelangelo's POV, which i love even more! Michelangelo is the most interesting character, i think, because he's the one that no one ever expects as much from; the baby-so he doesn't get as much focus as, say, Leo and Raphael. So i love how you're giving him attention here.
And you have a great grip on Leo's character as well. The best i've ever read, to be honest. He's a big brother, but there's more to him than that, and you really capture him as a rounded character.
The description of the fall and the climb is all very realistic and descriptive, making me feel the dark cold and wet walls and muddy floor they walk on. and it's so unrushed that i really get the sense of being trapped for hours, which makes the story, again, so realistic. This is going into faves, and after i finish this story (which will keep me up all night because i love to read slowly and savor the good stories), i'm going straight to your others to read your other works.
Keep up the good work with writing these characters. I love that there are talented authors that haven't forgotten about these four turtles. They're classic, and they deserve the extra attention they're getting. So many unexplored possibilities.
My favorite part of this fic is that you keep the focus on family without drawing in the villians or OCs. The two brothers is a wonderful thing to build a creepy type of adventure around. The dark cold is enough of a plot device to do just about anything with. Kudos to you!
| Pockets Full chapter 4 . 10/3/2007
I really liked reading this story. I watched the show as a kid and my favorite character was Raphael, but this story made me like Mike and Leo a lot more. I liked that it was really mostly them, since I have no clue who any of the other characters are since it's been so long.
I really wanted your characters to just get out of those sewers! I'm glad you wrote this epilogue chapter as well. For a while there I thought you were going to kill Leonardo off.
| RandomPenName chapter 4 . 9/29/2007
My computer is a dinosaur and I avoid at all cost at it crashes my comp. A friend sent me the first 3 paragraphs of this story to me in e-mail. It has taken me over 8 hours over the span of 4 days but I could not go away with out finishing this story. I want to put it in my c2 -brotherly love. this is the BEST ff I have ever read in this genra. Job well done. Truly a masterpeice.
| coucoune chapter 4 . 9/21/2007
it was an awesome fanfic, liked it till the start to the end its cool to see brotherhood interaction, and the fact it was beewten leo and mikey was originial, since the younger fellow is always along with donn. It was pretty cool you could kept going on with the story from a pov with no environement, since it was in the dark, liked the suspense im happy you got many review, you deserve it, really
| Neatsue chapter 1 . 9/21/2007

| a turtle fan chapter 1 . 9/10/2007
I just wanted to let you know that I loved Underdark. Talk about spoiling the reading of any other turtle fanfic out there. I started this story a couple of days ago and was very annoyed with life that I couldn't sit down and read it in one sitting. I can't get this one out of my head though. You were able to bring your story to life with all the description you were able to add to your story without boring the reader. I laughed out right several times throughout, some of your lines...classics. You got the turtles down to a capital T dude...
Thanks so much for sharing Underdark with the world. It was a great family piece. Also one of my reasons why I'm a turtle fan, the brotherly comradery.
One final note...man I LOVE your story.
| Zafiro Okami chapter 4 . 9/10/2007
I cannot begin to say how much I liked it! . That's why I feel kind of sad that it ended :(...Anyways, I really loved how you did Mickey's perspective! Not only did it convey the character perfectly (at least I think so :)) you made it so that he was more tangible (deeper). I really liked his thoughts because it really seems like somebody would actually think that! (believe me I've sometimes thought like that *I have a weird sense of humor*). It was nice how you showed the relationship between the brothers, how they seemed to know what they're thinking or how they feel. I liked the conversations (didn't seem phony at all! P) The way you described the character's feelings was also just right. The way you described the surroundings were short and sweet. The flow of the story to climaxes and resolutions was awsome! The conflicts that they had to face each time really kept you on your toes, leaving you wanting for more. I really liked how you made them react to every new situation and how they overcome them (priceless). One of the things that impressed me the most was the humor that there was even in the gravest of situations (even the morbid ones) because it was so real to don't find that in most stories ( I think it's essential most of the time). You really blew me away! (that's why I'm writing this cheap ass review to you! _) I've really enjoyed reading this story!(even though it ended *sniff, sniff*) I really hope you write something else very soon. I can't wait to read it! Thank you for wasting your time reading my ramblings! (I really appreciate it P) Nice story! Ja ne!
| omasuoniwabanshi chapter 4 . 9/9/2007
That ending image with the two of them together was completely adorable. Mikey really does act like a kid, in a typically cute younger brother manner. His incoherency and difficulty in getting the right words out they way he wanted in order to convey his feelings was pretty darned endearing.
I loved the part where Donatello smacks him on the head and Mikey is immediately reassured that things are 'back to normal'.
You make the characters seem so real with all their human-like quirks and foibles.
Great ending to a great story!
