Reviews for Angels Unaware |

![]() ![]() ![]() You had me with the title of this one, it's the title of my favorite Quantum Leap book, but I liked the premise too, and of course, I loved the story. It definitely lived up to its promise and was delightful, full of angst and h/c. I loved the episode with Bodie stuck in country and this was even better because Doyle was with him. I heard someone say once that there is a reason that the first thing an Angel says is 'fear not' so I have no problem with angel warriors, and Bodie and Doyle fit that. |
![]() ![]() ![]() great story |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wonderful in every way. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Congratulations! This is undoubtedly one of the very best Professionals' fics I've read. You've captured the very essence of the characters and the who's ethos. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, what a story! This was brilliant, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Thank you for sharing it with us. :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've never even seen The Professionals ( I was lured here by a crossover fic), but loved this story you wrote. I could even "hear" their voices. Thank you for sharing it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wonderful and excellent. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am at a loss of words. An absolute fantastic story. Again you had them true to character. Enjoyed their banter (always liked Bodies strange humor and his straight forward attitude). Nicely built with flashbacks and great OC with the Stoner's. PLEASE keep it up. Thanks for sharing |
![]() ![]() ![]() What can I say about this lovely story? It was superb. I loved the animals. I loved the original characters. I loved how you wrote Bodie, Doyle, and Cowley. I liked the idea of the old church as a hiding place, and the flashbacks that caught us up to the present, and the tension and kindness mixed together (the couple's kindness, that is!). I especially liked Lizi-she was wonderful! :D Cowley had an excellent idea about the horse boarding, as well. :) I wonder if the young policeman will join CI5? :D Thank you for sharing a wonderful view of the lads! :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, lovely story! Really could have been an episode. Truly great OCs in Lizi, El, and McDougall. I really like the spirituality and compassion you've instilled in the two Pros stories I've read so far. Lizi, like Sister Agnes, provides a wonderful model that we'd all do well to emulate. Especially liked them getting that new horse to train for Her Majesty. ::grins:: Nice use of British idiom, too, for an American. Altogether, very well done. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is an utterly wonderful story. You've got a great case plot, wonderful secondary characters, and a great setting. (I'm a sucker for anything involving horses.) And you've nailed Bodie and Doyle's characters perfectly. The fact that you have Bodie quoting, and misquoting, Mercutio is just the icing on a very lovely cake. Thank you! |
![]() ![]() ![]() WOW. This is the best fanfic I have EVER read. It is so well written I can't restrain from reading it again and again. Very well balanced, excellent plot, extremely well written. Not to speak about the fabulous h/c note. In two words, pure delight. A pity YOU were not the scripwriter for the Pros. They could have been ever more popular than they actually were. Thank you, Bardicvoice, so much. I loved your other fanfic about Sister Agnes almost as much as this one. I do hope you have not stopped writing and that you will post a new story soon. I will be really looking forward to it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() A great story! I enjoyed it a lot! The banter's great, dialogue top shelf, the h/c... aw! Loved it. Thanks for posting. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I completely loved this story. Gripped from the beginning until the end. Characterisation perfect. Even Cowley's speech mannerisms - I could hear his Scottish brogue. I loved how you showed Doyle and Bodie's relationship in a very in character way. As for the plot - well thought out and extremely well executed. In short - this had the lot! Well done! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great story. You are a very talented writer! |
