This was a cute, interesting crossover! I never made the connection between those two songs before. Nice work creating a story to connect them :)

Ah I see, I wondered about the Trickster. Of course, Archimedes would take offence at Gollum's grammar :)! I'm afraid I find the idea of Gollum living forever terrifying, but this story is quite fun!

Very nicely done, it works well if you imagine Gollum from the hobbit cartoon animated into sword in the stone

That was nothing short of amazing. And I really love Archimedes jibe about Gollum's grammer. Poor thing hasn't had to use the stuff in several hundred years. And I personally interpreted Trickster as the Author, who is always something of a jokster. Am I right? Capital job!
| King Caspian the Seafarer chapter 1 . 6/6/2008
Tee hee hee...good old Gollum. I never even put the two songs together until now. Now I'm going to start laughing manaically every time I see that part in LOTR...;)
Very funny. Great job!

A LotR / Sword in the Stone crossover? It certainly is original, and rather funny too! Excellent stuff.
