| Guest chapter 1 . 6/1
I think all of your Harry-Potter-stories are great and realistic and I can imagine them. Might be like that.
Now, Trelawney always tells Harry he will die. And McGonagall says she always does that. Hm. One can't be sure. Maybe she was right and all those pupils were killed by deatheaters . Or maybe she just wanted to be dramatic.
Yet we will never know because JKR just made it all up ;-)

Thought provoking and actually very much in keeping with the Sibyll Trelawney we see downing Death Eaters in DH.

Excellent. A well-conceived and well-executed view into Sibyll's character. She's one of the many characters that just isn't well developed in either canon or the fandom. You have done it beautifully. I particularly liked the reference to Apollo's blessing. The mythology and religion of the wizarding world is another thing that's rarely shown.
In case you're interested, I've run into two other stories that develop her at all (although one of them I had to write myself.) They are:
"Second Sight" by Rose Flame
"Life & Loyalty" by MarbleGlove

Very insightful character study. Somehow manages to delve into Sibyll's psyche, her grandmother's, the wizarding world's, and people in general in just three paragraphs. Really superb.
