Hilarious. Definitely an instant fave. But seriously, why is it that the stories with all the things you said in it, get all the god damn reviews, seriously? What about the ones where people put their blood and tears to make something decent with a good plot and character development and decent pacing? I mean, if you're lucky, you can get maybe two or three from each page the other stories are crap, with shitty Japanese -though I'll admit for Naruto, some of the attacks are better with the Japanese than the English, but I mostly get tired of honorifics...-

But seriously loved this fic, even if it was based on the horrifically cliche, though you did yours just right XD. I hope you add more.

oh my God that was HILARIOUS. but SO TRUE. i've definitally read my share of fanfics, and all of that typical crap is in a lot of them. HAH i especially love how you point out the sexual tension that everyone is inevitably feeling in every fanfic.. oh and the fact that a murdering alien biting then on their neck during sex and then licking up the blood never seems to phase them... 'oh ok, that's sweet' ..ehh..

This example of bad traits in a Dbz fic is utterly perfect. I'd be willing to bet that 99.9 percent of the reviewers of this fic have made at least one of these mistakes too. I know I have... Maybe not to such a disgusting extent, but I have. I hope you reach your goal of 579 reviews, even if it will probably take another six years! This honestly made my day in a sort of sad way...

That was great, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm pretty sure this is a how to for all fics. It hurts my brain to come across such a crappy story with so many reviews because the crazy people on this site can't seem to recognize talent. You must have encounter one too many fics like that to drive you to create this. Thanks for finally giving me something worth reading.

that is so true. it's incredible. you find at least one of these characteristics in every fic. there's also more stuff about Yamcha: everyone hates him, he's a cheating bastard who sleeps around but when bulma leaves him he's in love with her all over again but then she doesn't care. oh, and he lives in his own appartment even though he's been with bulma for 10 years or so and hangs out at CC in the show. thanks for writing this, really.

This fic made me laugh so much. It's so true! It's really too bad that the bad fics happen so often because every now and then, I see stuff that might be good except for the various stuff that they do like authors bringing in their own personal hangups and making me wish that they'd just get therapy rather than show through their writing to a complete stranger that they do need therapy. Awesome job on this fic! And I am really happy that there were no spelling mistakes or grammatical errors that made my hackles rise! But then again, who am I to speak since I make mistakes in English all the time.

I haven't read anything that bad yet, but this was a good example. I don't know why people put lots of Romanized Japanese words in their stories; it's just confusing. I did read one story where it made sense to have Japanese in the story because there was a joke that whatever language the characters were speaking was being dubbed over to English without anyone relaizing it. (There was also a character dream in French, but fortunately the author translated it.)

I thought this was highly amusing, because I have seen a few stories with over-Americanization and sex-obsessed characters.
