Man, such a great story to be reading the first time - many years after you posted! Very glad to have seen the link on ncisficfind, and now have lots of your other stories to go read. :)

Just re-read this again for must be at least 4 or 5 times over the years. Loved all your stories and wonder if you will ever write more for us. Excellent writing and begs for more.

This was a great story! Lots of action, emotions, and a good plot. I think you did an excellent job with Tony and Gibbs's characters (and Ducky was perfect). I'm always a little tickled when I read an NCIS story written by someone from GB/Oceania; some of the idioms and vocabulary you wove into the story contrast very interestingly with the somewhat crasser American vernacular of the show.

WOW...you are a fantastic writer...I absolutely loved this story. I have no idea if you will ever see this review as I notice this story was completed in 2007. ...6 years ago! I am new to the fanfic world (Since Sept 2012) and have read a lot of the stories here. I must say that this story & your writing skill put you in my top 5 fave writers. Just found this story tonight. I was going to comment at the last chapter but must commend you on the following passage:
"...Tony had woken to find Ducky leaning over him and had believed himself dead and on the autopsy table. It had taken the normally unflappable Ducky quite some time to recover his own composure after Tony's full-throated scream of horror at the sight of his face."

I really love how you write the team :)

Man, what is it with Ducky drugging people, Tony in this case, against their will? Extremely unethical. Happens a lot in 'NCIS' fan fiction and I have no clue why. Of course, Tony being such a nice guy would never report the not so good Doctor to the AMA. The fact that he thinks it's laughable or "for Tony's own good" and that Gibbs thinks so too is bothersome for me.

I really hope the show Ducky never does this.

Great story. I love that you were able to have an exciting plot and deal with emotional issues. Very well rounded fic with some lovely language as well. I am looking forward to reading the sequel.
