|Reviews for The sad tale of Malwathwen Nuhuinkalîdô|
| fantasychica37 chapter 1 . 1/21
I'm sure Elrond is thrilled that his sons found a pastime less filled with anger and revenge and danger than hunting orcs!
| quaff chapter 1 . 10/29/2011
Love these types of stories. Thanks for writing this story.
| Mare chapter 1 . 9/11/2008
Hahaha, I love it! Love it, I say! Ah, the twins have done the world another great favour, and no one seems to know about it! We must spread the word! XD
Cheers, and happy writing, m'dear!
| Sarince chapter 1 . 2/28/2008
Heh-hee. It's good elves know how to use their bows, isn't it.
One piece of complaint though, concerning this paragraph: "She checked her dress as she prepared to step into the circle."
You fail to describe her dress! When a person looks like M-W, surely her dress is worth describing?
(Or then not.. ;-)
| sazza-da-vampire chapter 1 . 12/3/2007
now we just need a story of the twins plucking off about ten or twenty Mary-Sues trying to join the Fellowship, only to find that one of them is pretending to be Arwen... hehehe
| Luciferus chapter 1 . 11/20/2007
Is it me, or do you have a rather obvious distaste of Mary-Sues?LOL!
Love it, but then again, it has the twins, so it's a winner!
| R.E. Watters chapter 1 . 8/17/2007
Yep, this should happen to all Mary Sues. A wonderful little parody. Shame WendWriter is too lazy to post an actual flame about this story and cuts it instead from another story she "reviewed". Anyone who thinks this is a genuine MS is overreacting.
| Hainima chapter 1 . 8/10/2007
Whilst I don't think this is your best work, it made me smile. Does Elrohir "get the next one"?
BTW what was the non-dragon half? Don't answer that :-).
| Lady Wednesday chapter 1 . 8/9/2007
LOL, this was a really good parody. Loved your mary-sue descriptions! They're right on target! "her magnificent, long blue-and-white-striped hair out of her velvet amber-yet-lilac eyes!"
| Jay of Lasgalen chapter 1 . 8/9/2007
'Bloody Mary Sues'
Thanks for this - I love it!
| flyingtiger chapter 1 . 8/9/2007
This is an amusing short sketch and was clearly not meant to be taken seriously.
It's a pity WendWriter apparently didn't take the trouble to read it before posting such an unhelpful review.
| AC2 chapter 1 . 8/9/2007
Do us a favour, love, please take this down. It's so unutterably embarrassing that if anyone you know sees it, they will cringe as much as I did when I came upon this while looking for a decent story. Come on now, you KNOW that spelling isn't just what Harry Potter does, it's to do with words, okay? And grammar is not your mother's mother, it's to do with what you do with words. Punctuation is not what you want to do to someone after getting a review like this, it's about the correct uses of apostrophes ('), commas and full stops. Paragraphs... you don't appear to have heard of those, love.
"Canon" is not a weapon of war, it's the original author's version of events. "Cannon" is a weapon of war - note that it is spelt with two "N's." Your disregard for canon is as illustrative of your ignorance as your spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Well your writing is bad enough - a perfect showcase for your intellect, now let's look at the story, shall we? Mary Sue through and through. Look, petal, none of the characters from the movies would find your ridiculous self-insert wannabe remotely romantically attractive. Let it go, hon, you'd be lucky to land a fish, let alone a hot Elf.
Surely to goodness you actually did some learning at school intead of just gossipping and messing around at the back of the class - basically, you should know all this by now. I'm not too worried about whether or not you get upset by a review like this, since if you read as well as you write, you won't understand what I'm saying here unless you get someone else to explain it to you.
