| pureblood123 chapter 7 . 9/16/2011
I don't think I can get used to a short haired and non glassesed girly Integra. But I liked the relationship between her and Alucard. Reminded me of original hellsing series. And special thanx for not including seras victoria into this relationship. Please keep going by the way.
| A Mistake chapter 8 . 2/5/2011
This might be a filler chapter, but it's a pretty filling filler. Nice. No complaints from me but utter contentment...
| A Mistake chapter 6 . 2/5/2011
Oooh, so she finally snaps back at him in this chapter. That was wonderfully gratifying to read. With Alucard slaughtering vampires left and right in Tirgoviste at so early an arrival, it seems that it might not be subterfuge that they're aiming at after all but an attack straight at the front gates. Well, knowing Alucard's penchant for carnage, it's not exactly unexpected. There can never be too much gratuitous violence in Hellsing, so the fight scene was nice, even if short and a bit low on details.
The part that lingers most in memory is still Integra taking Alucard down a peg or two. Excellent show of Hellsing mettle.
| A Mistake chapter 5 . 2/5/2011
I wonder why she didn't just give Alucard a direct order to hand her cigars over? His seal bounds him to her, and (if my knowledge of canon serves), I don't think he has the ability to deny any of her direct orders or requests. Unless Integra didn't actually want the cigars that much, but that didn't seem to match the love she's showing for those things so far.
Actually, now that I think of it, I don't see her giving him _any_ order so far. It's not that it's a necessity, it just felt a little odd. This is especially true since he managed to get her to agree with some of the clothes that he picked out without having to nag/persuade her for long, even when he was being pushy...
Just my two pennies on the characterization, though.
| A Mistake chapter 4 . 2/5/2011
Hmm, yes, there are those unmarked and sudden pov changes...
...but I was too carried away in the story to notice. It really isn't a glaring problem. Of course, there's the chance that I was too engrossed in reading about Integra allowing Alucard to drink straight from the jugular, hence my opinion may have been assuaged by fanservice the way virgin sacrifices placates the Elder Gods.
| A Mistake chapter 3 . 2/5/2011
Best quote so far:
"It's so hard to get used to you with short hair,"
Err, Integra, the (underfed, losing sleep) vampire is probably drooling over your neck. If you don't realize now, there may be some...extenuating circumstances waiting to happen.
Hmm, now this chapter somehow felt slower than the previous one, though I can't seem to put a finger on the exact why. Maybe it's just my feeling.
I'm curious that the checking-in scene at the inn is bypassed. I assume Alucard would have been the one doing the talking, considering how limited Integra's grasp of the language is, but what would they check-in as? Colleagues? Lovers? Newlyweds? (which, considering Alucard's penchant for testing Integra's patience, sounds very much like him). Even if she can still accept that they needed a cover and her acting skills would be tested then, she'd be pretty vexed. I'm also wondering about how the innkeeper saw them. Is it usual for the inn to have many holidaying people in the area at that time of the year? Hmm, questions, questions...
Pardon the curiosity, the story is too interesting that it hangs around in my head and generates pictures and ideas about it.
| A Mistake chapter 2 . 2/5/2011
Hmmm, the summary was pretty accurate. Trees, trees, bullets flying and more trees. The chapter might not be an action-filled one, but it still pulls the plot forward (or maybe that's just a personal opinion of mine, because I enjoy reading characters strategize their future movements). I'm just happy there's at least 8 more chapters for me to read.
Oh, _love_ the fridge. Too bad they couldn't take it along (a good luck charm? It survived a crashing and burning plane, it's definitely fridge ex machina).
| A Mistake chapter 1 . 2/5/2011
A secret mission with an insanely quick briefing, the spread of a mystery drug, the heroes' plane exploding above the alps and going undercover in eastern Europe? Man, that almost fulfilled all the expected action sequences in a Cold War era spy movie; the premise of the story is too cool already. Whether it's going to stay within the bounds of Hellsing canon plausibility or not is still depends on later chapters, but the introduction already packs a punch.
Nice characterization too; Alucard's always testing his master's boundaries while being explicitly obedient, and Integra's no wilting violet.
On the other hand, considering the time stamp of the last update, err, is this story dead and left unfinished? Just curious.

Umm execuse me, but I need more. I'll be waiting.
| Kenjirose chapter 9 . 9/9/2009
This is seriously an awesome story O.O
| Elalona chapter 9 . 9/4/2009
Hey I just finished reading what is so far a very entertaining story :) I wish there was more to finish it. I like the idea of a Russian organization like Hellsing and I think you're a little too hard on yourself about calling your story boring. I enjoy it! Thanks for sharing,
| hellsingfan101 chapter 3 . 7/17/2009

| Mortal Freak chapter 9 . 3/31/2009
I know this fic hasn't been updated in at least half a year, but it would give me great joy to see another chapter. I loved the Doctor Who references! It totally made my day.
| Fenikkusuken chapter 1 . 3/4/2009
I know virtually nothing of 'Hellsing' except that it involves vampires, but a good friend rec'd this fic and I have to say that I fear you have ruined me for the canon version should I ever get around to experiencing it.
These characterizations were so vivid, the action so well paced and the dialogue so entertaining that I was thoroughly hooked from halfway through the first chapter. Well done, and I look forward to more!
| Grateful Dead Rock chapter 9 . 1/13/2009
So many Doctor Who references...bananas, a drug called "exhilaration", possibly all of the tea references...did I miss any? Also, if you're still writing, please update!
