This was beautifully written, so realistic and so emotional. I love all your work, but this is truly one of my favorites.

As someone who thinks no one has yet managed to write a decent intimate scene, I can say that you do this quite well. I only have issue with your Remus in this story. Aside from the fact that I think he's celibate, I can't imagine him acting the way he does here, namely, being so forward. He lacks that gentleness and hesitation I firmly believe he has, especially if,as you point out, he hasn't had any recent experience in this area. I found things he said to be rather inappropriate. I also an't imagine him simply being intimate based on atraction. He does admit he loves her, but I'll never believe he would make love first and this after. It should be the other way around. I think Remus respects women, and that intimacy and relationships are very special to him, because he believes he can't have them.

It’s really good. The only thing is that the changes back and forth in time would be easier to follow with a break marker (have no idea if those have an actual name).

Like the rest of your stories that I've read, this was done beautifully. It was definitely more intimate, but held more emotion and passion than lust. The transitions were a tad confusing, but after a few of them, it clears up.

M rated fics are usually not my thing, but I had to read this one, obviously because you wrote it and I like your style. It seems this 'fic unfortunately lost any and all scene breaks, so it's a little rough to stumble through, but I found my way through it without too much difficulty. Then again, I'm an FFN expert when it comes to things like that. Hah.

That said, I love how intimate this is without being descriptive. Not that descriptive is bad, mind, but as a reader I like seeing and experiencing the more emotional side of things. And you definitely delivered with this.

I personally think for Remus he'd prefer to have Tonks looking just as she naturally is. I think he does like the pink hair but at the same time, I think her being her natural self around him at such an intimate time would really give it all a lot more meaning for the both of them. I almost feel that she hides a bit behind her bright hair and interesting clothing choices...not that I blame her, because I would too, if I had her ability.

[saying silently that this is her exposed, this is her raw, this is her as she is and it's, well, really, really scary so if he just wouldn't mind saying or doing the right thing?] This was just the perfect line, my favorite in the entire 'fic. That being exposed like that is scary to her is just...completely relateable. I almost said "understandable" but then I realized how many other people have been through the same thing. I definitely have- without giving too much away, I was extremely touched by friends who didn't give two whits about my teeth. They're gone now (they were that bad), and the problem is just as big as ever. Like Tonks I think I could see how being seen just totally raw like that would be frightening as hell. Just kind of blows your mind when a bloke sees you for who you are in all your "natural beauty" and still tells you you're beautiful.
