I seriously couldn't keep my eyes off of this story. You can't help but to know that there's so much more than meets the eye to that weird cave, the monkeys and their connection to Goku. The way that Gojyo is handling all of this cracks me up. I feel like the only two people who actually are able to care and investigate this are Hakkai and Goku, but even the latter seems much more shaken up than everyone else. I would hope that Sanzo is able to finally let his guard down and let his charge be of use to him, but that is just too much to ask of the monk. Poor Goku is trying so hard and he won't let him do anything (I wonder if Sanzo is also still embarrassed about his crying)... I know it has been a while since you've worked on this fic, but I do hope that one day you will return to it. You've officially given me a fic that I won't be able to get out of my head :D

I love this. The idea is innovative, the characterization is true, and I can't wait to see what happens next. Hakkai is taking things with his usual good grace, and you can trust Gojyo to turn a disability into a point for flirting. Blind or otherwise, I get the feeling that Sanzo will come in handy somehow later, if only because the 'See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil' ideal was, as mentioned, originally a Buddist teaching. As for Goku... I have a feeling about him too, one that tells me he didn't come out of that cave as entirely as unaffected as he thinks. The fight with the demons should give shed some light on my suspicions. In any case, keep it up.

I know I'm going to repeat at least 10 others, but I love how you blended the 3 monkeys with Saiyuki. It feels so real; it's sad and funny at the same time. It also made me appreciate my own senses.

Very well written! Wonderful story so far. Very interesting. Characters are dead on. I like how Gojyo and Hakkai can still enjoy themselves despite all that’s going on. Love the smiley faces on Hakkai’s notes.
