And of course, it's canon that Snape doesn't condone bullying, even by Slytherins. When Draco flashes thew POTTER STINKS badge he waits until Snape's back is turned, and when Pansy mockes Hermione's teeth she stands *behind* Snape and does it silently. Obviously they know that if he catches them doing it there'll be trouble.

are you by chance heading for Harry/Luna? I mean, I kind of doubt it, and it's fine if not, this fic is great for its... general state of no overly addressed relationship, but... i'm a huge Harry/Luna shipper so I'm naturally weak to that thought, lol!

Your writing style is quite interesting; I haven't read many stories written in the present tense, but it's definitely not a bad thing! I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Imagine my surprise when I finished The Guiltless, and found you'd already posted a sequel! (so I'm really reviewing both right now!)

I really enjoyed the insight you brought to both Harry's and Snape's reaction to the abuse by the Dursley's.

Your writing is very clear and descriptive, and there is quite the nice element of humor, particularly in the interactions between Dumbledore and Snape. They are both quite in character, but you manage to give them a personality slightly more amiable than JK's.

I really like how you're writing Luna's character, and I'm enjoying the respite from some of Hermione's and Ron's more distasteful personality traits.
