Reviews for Harry Potter's Life Lessons |

KyoudaiDoushi chapter 1 . 4/3/2009 Voldemort and the prophecy weren't mentioned once and yet Harry still managed to fulfill it. Amusuing. I think this is one of the better HP short-stories I've read in quite some time. Most of them out there seem to be the hot-off-the-presses kind. You know, those where a person sits down at the computer, spends a couple hours typing it out, and immediately posts it? I hate those. They always suck. I'm gonna go read some of your others now. Hope they live up to the standard you set. I'll let you know what I think. Dee |
mekareami chapter 1 . 4/3/2009 I agree, private tutoring would be much better :) As always, thank you for writing and I hope to read more |
misto713 chapter 1 . 3/30/2009 Well, this story was certainly special. You made Harry a sort of a "kind and fair murderer". He did practically murder Snape, Dumbledore, Quirrel and the Dursleys, didnt he? But still, I enjoyed your story quite a lot, mostly about him not really loving Hogwards. That was one thing I never really understood - why did he love the place so much when he mostly only got hurt there? Only one thing that saddens me - this story could have been longer ;) |
shawn-small chapter 1 . 3/27/2009 Just found this story and love it! Thanks for writing! |
Sean Mulligan chapter 1 . 3/24/2009 You seem a little hard on Snape and some of the other Hogwarts teachers and Hogwarts itself. Snape must not have been such a bad teacher since according to the books his students got higher grades then in other classes. |
BenRG chapter 1 . 3/24/2009 Now, why haven't I reviewed this before? This story requires a few leaps of the imagination to be believable. However, if abuse turned Tom Riddle smart and cunning, why couldn't it have done the same for Harry Potter? Harry's careful, methodical assault on the Wizarding World, is wonderfully described as is how the canon events of the first through third years were altered and often triggered early by Harry's careful planning. You can really see the sudden horror of a nice, predictable world collapsing without any apparent cause. Okay, so this Harry is a paranoid psychopath and God help anyone who he views as a threat. However, there is no doubt that his main goal will always be to ensure that those who harm others are not given the chance to harm him. The Wizarding World has gained a protector in the shadows, always watchful for the activities of the Dark. If it wasn't the protector they expected or wanted... well, they really should have been more careful about how they treated him - Dumbledore especially. BenRG's Rating: 8.5/10 |
MrRobertsIII chapter 1 . 3/8/2009 Excellent. What a vicious and great way to get rid of the Big Bad Three. Nice touch with the Elder Wand being the source of madness. |
Lurking Silence chapter 1 . 2/1/2009 wow this is good |
ARedHair chapter 1 . 1/17/2009 Love it. Good story and the third party narration provide a nice quick pace that I really liked. |
harryjerry chapter 1 . 1/15/2009 Awesome job! This story gave me a feeling of immense satisfaction. Keep up the good work! |
TJeanetteT chapter 1 . 1/8/2009 Wonderful. But this could have been one hell of a chapter story. But I guess some things must come to an end. |
w- easy enough chapter 1 . 1/8/2009 I like this story. The life lessons are so true, and Harry's observations are great! I LIKE this Harry. *grins* |
Harriverse chapter 1 . 1/3/2009 This was delightful! A 'smart' Harry for a change! Too bad your focus has changed to Naruto, but a person's hobbies are their own. Since I haven't watched T.V. for years, my focus on the infinite Potterverse hasn't changed. Thanks for sharing your work! |
Inumaru12 chapter 1 . 12/23/2008 That was very awesome. I loved it. |
MartinDeShade chapter 1 . 12/16/2008 One of my favorite stories. Favorite quote "I'm too cunning for those morons." |
