jpotterNY chapter 1 . 10/11/2007 A Great story, wrapped it all up nice and seemed as likely as the real one. Keep up the good work. |
jbfritz chapter 1 . 10/9/2007 Great story! |
Von chapter 1 . 10/9/2007 Congratulations and thanks for writing this very entertaining, refreshingly positive story! I am so SICK of the constant 'bad/depressing' theme in ficcage.. This was AU and lots of fun to read. Thanks again! |
Monopoly chapter 1 . 10/8/2007 Wow, this was great. Harry sees a problem: Harry takes it out. Beautiful. This is one of the best first year fics I've read. Great, great job. |
Bell chapter 1 . 10/7/2007 I really really liked it. You tided up every little detail for Voldemort no never arise again, and for any of his DE to be a problem anymore... And for Harry to transform from too bright and cold-blooded eleven year old to a more normal boy, nevertheless brighter. The Albus-Harry conversation was very interesting, specially on Dumbledore's POV. I didn't liked that little bit of Ron-bashing, but I guess it works with this kind of Harry. Oh, and you managed to bring to surfice loads of things fans have seen through that were never properly explained about laws, and politics. Good. My congratulations, an excellent piece. |
wingsofeagle chapter 1 . 10/7/2007 Wow... best short story I've read based on HP. |
dogbertcarroll chapter 1 . 10/6/2007 I like it. No need to go dark and angsty when you solve your own problems and have the time and money to live the way you want. |
aemilyl24 chapter 1 . 10/6/2007 WOW! This story was amazing. I loved it so much! What a unique idea, and you did it so well. Congrats! I look forward to reading more fics bu you:) |
taxzombie chapter 1 . 10/6/2007 BRAVO! I say again BRAVO! This story makes so much sense. Loved reading where He-Who-Got-Screwed returned the favor in spades! Man, what a vicious sense of justice. Vicious, but fair. No tears here for the scum that got what they deserved. Kicked the crap out of the bad guys and then go on to live the normal life that they tried to steal from him. Excellent. Definately one I will be reading again. |
OrionTheHunter chapter 1 . 9/28/2007 Great Story. |
Kalen Darkmoon chapter 1 . 9/27/2007 This is great! I loved the revenge Harry got against the adults responsible for hurting him. It was very creative and very fitting punishment. The only one I felt even the tiniest amount of pity for was Dudley since he was in many ways as much a victim of Vernon & Petunia's cruelty and abysmal parenting skills as Harry was. They taught Dudley the cruelty he exhibited and he was still only a child that only knew what his parents taught him even if it was bad. This is so much better, so much more satisfying, than what JKR's version of events turned out to be. Not a story about a heroic boy who saves the world but instead a series of seven books about an orphan knowingly subjected to years of abuse by the Dursleys b/c Dumbledore needed a child with no sense of self-worth that would be easily manipulated with but a few kind words. Abuse that made him naive, pliable and easy to mold him into the perfect puppet plaything for an old man whose previous mistakes regarding an abused child resulted in the Dark Lord Voldemort. It was horribly despicable how her books treated Harry to the very end because he was ultimately in the end nothing more than Dumbledore's stooge and fall-guy - the one to truly pay for Dumbledore's mistake with a young Tom Riddle. By the end of book five I YEARNED to see her entire wizarding world burn in the flames of Harry's vengeance for their horrific use and abuse of him. She turned such a great possibility into a complete and utter joke. Fortunately there are a great many amateur writers out there who are much more creative and can create such great AU's like this! AU's where there is some kind of justice for Harry against those who used and/or abused him. |
dexterZ chapter 1 . 9/26/2007 superb fic...got me thinking..why hell do the kids goto hogwarts anyway...coz their parents learnt the same thing there so can't they home school their kids instead of wasting money?...reading fanfiction has made me hate canon...canon characters are way too dumb ...they cant plot their way out of their underwears... |
Tommy14 chapter 1 . 9/26/2007 Thanks for a good read. |
Banner chapter 1 . 9/25/2007 Ooh, wicked! I love a smart, savvy Harry - and JKR made him little more than a bundle of trained "hero" reflexes. HP never really had to make choices or develop much in the way of brains. You make him interesting and worthwhile. |
sadfru chapter 1 . 9/21/2007 One of the best fics I've read :) |
