It reminds me of "Speeding Bullets", a DC Comics' Elseworlds story, where kryptonian baby Kal-El lands in Gotham City instead of Smallville, it is raised by Thomas and Martha Wayne (who named him Bruce) and, some years later, when the Waynes get murdered, Bruce became Batman, but a darker Batman than you know... It this your story, Darksyn? Will Hikaru (or Ranma) became a darker Magic Knight? I want to read more, of your story... Publish chapter 3 soon, please, my friend...

Great concept and the implementation is wonderful so far. You'd think there would be more stories with Ranma as Hikaru though, considering short redheads with a pigtail aren't exactly common.
