I like that this post-Eclipse story concentrated on Bella and Edward’s romance and changing Bella without the pregnancy. I’m glad you tackled the issues that I had with the books. I just thought the ending stumbled a bit though.

Bella’s reigniting her friendship with Jacob wasn’t handled like a woman secure in her relationship who has moved past her feelings for her ex and was ready to be friends. There was too much ambivalence on her part, which made Edward not at ease. That was a missed opportunity for an in depth conversation about Bella and Edward’s feelings about that time in their relationship. Instead, it just felt glazed over.

I’m glad though in the end they all could be friends and Jake got his happy ending.

The confrontation with the Volturi was very compelling, especially with Aro and Jake at each other’s throats. I just felt let down by the resolution of the conflict with the Cullens and the Pack.

Even with these disappointments, this story still feels more like a fitting sequel to Eclipse than Breaking Dawn does. Thanks for sharing and still keeping this up.

BEAUTIFUL...way to end this chapter.

This chapter made me upset , Kate used her power of persuasion to try to trick Edward into having sex with Tanya without his consent he said he was drowsy and and had no control so basically the vampire version of date rape . What pissed me off is the fact that the Cullen’s are laughing it off and acting like it was no big deal , oh Bella Tanya almost raped Edward but it’s no big deal he was single and a little bit stuffy so it was ok , oh Bella it’s so funny you’re jealous that Tanya is so affectionate with your mate , touching him , playing with his hair kissing his cheek , it’s normal it’s not like she tried to rape him , she’s a succubus it’s no big deal . It was sick .

Found this on Katmom's list. Always interesting to read BD stories written before it was published - how close some authors come to what SM wrote and some twists. You did well. I'll check out your other stories.
