This is so well written and has such a wealth of character development and ANGST. The way Harry and Kakashi's respond to their respective trauma is raw and engaging, and the awkward sibling relationship is just-*chef's kiss*-magnifique! The flashback where Harry encounters fiendfyre was especially well done (I LOVE the way the fire seems almost sentient!) and the way the poor kid is forced to navigate life without knowing the language is so accurate it hurts. Seeing him realize what was going on at Obito's funeral was so sad it HURT and then the kyuubi happened and-ughhhh! Baby Naruto is way too fecking cute to be alone with that mean lady!

seriously, I like this story but the author must me retarded. Rin literally asks if there is some way they can explain the situation to Harry and Minato just says they have to wait and have him figure it out?! it's causing problems! all they need to do is have the Hokage explain the situation to him. Jesus fucking christ.

wtf is wrong with your version of the third Hokage. he KNOWS Harry doesn't speak their language and doesn't explain anything to him. as far as we know he's the only one who can and he just gives him the most minimum amount of info. does Harry even know Kakashi it's his brother at this point?

Ok, Rin and Obito were the ones who were actually rude in this chapter. Rin asking Kakashi with what's wrong with him just for asking why Harry is crying bothered me. I love Obito, but the way he's angry at Kakashi for being...actually that's just Obito nevermind. But seriously though, I'm with Kakshi on this one, they're favoring Harry too much. Kakashi is just a hurt angsty boy, who got bombed with info that he has a brother and he has to share. SHARE WITH A COMPLETE STRANGER just because they're HALF BROTHERS. If one of my parents cheated and suddenly produced me a sibling unannounced, I would fucking rage. Hell nah, am I gonna share. Fuck that. I'd feel betrayed yo. Add the fact that they all side with the new sibling since they're so pitiful and shit. Motherfucker now I feel salty...
