Aw! I loved the scene with the Jealous!Kakashi (as jealous as he'll show himself) and Asuma and Harry. It was awesome! XD

Definitely one of the best, if not THE best Naruto/Harry Potter crossover I've read. I love this so much that it's taking every last ounce of discipline to leave a mini-review instead of just jumping over to the sequel right away.

I really like the way you incorporated Harry into this world. There was no instance acceptance from every last person and he didn't change canon. Obito still died when he died, and Minato and Kushina both died. It must have been so tempting to change it so they would live. But well, this felt so much more genuine.

Love the way you told the story too, with the mini-flashback in the beginning before moving on to the main story. It gave a much more complete picture of the events.

Now... on to the sequel!

Only Finite Incantatem, or Moody's eye, wouldn't be able to undo it. Chakra isn't equal to magic.

~ "Your wife will be safe with me, Potter-san."

Insanity.

Lily died, Kakashi disappeared leaving illusion of James's death, Harry was taken with shinobi. Where is real James, and why wasn't shinobi able to save Lily?

~ "Sometimes things are required on missions that a shinobi would rather not do. When it came down to it, he really didn't have a choice."

So Harry is Kakashi's... Ah, half-brother.

~ "The one day I'm on time and it's canceled? Why?"

Intriguing.

So: shinobi was with Lily for a short time, they weren't sure whether Harry is shinobi's son or James's son, Harry has lived for about five years with Dursleys?

~ The whole family died and, again, Harii was the only survivor by the time help arrived.

Harry was taken from Dursleys because Death Eaters killed them?

~ Often, in real battles, you'd find times when it's better to sacrifice a stab to the arm, or a cut to the side, gaining your advantage in that moment.

What about poisoned daggers, snake strikes, insect bites?

~ "But doesn't a child compromise the security of this meeting?"

Well, if a mind-reader were to attack him, he would be able to translate the meeting.

~ "Hanaki-san did this? He has a bad attitude." "He's a competent Chuunin," "Still, he shouldn't hold onto grudges against his allies,"

Agree. Hanaki should understand that even if he is competent, he isn't the best in everything, and he should cooperate with allies, not consider them his followers.

Minato is annoying.

~ Kakashi didn't worry about other people. He was an insensitive, socially stunted jerk and Obito knew it.

Hilarious. Kakashi does care for others, he just doesn't want others to know it.

How did Death Eaters find Dursleys?

~ "Then who's fault was it?" "It was those bandits! If they hadn't attacked, we would've completed it!"

Risk of being attacked by bandits is part of the mission. Just like risk of drought or flood or fire is part of job of gardener/farmer.

~ "But, sensei, that's not fair!" The rusty haired boy complained loudly.

Life is not fair.

~ "For the last three years I've been trying to throw that brat a birthday party—this year we're going to do it!

Miii-naa-to... You are annoying, you know that?

~ he allowed that it was as much his fault as the ninja's.

~ And maybe Ibiki, too.

Ibiki is my favourite character in Naruto universe.

~ He frowned—maybe that was the problem. Maybe Kakashi would be happier if he had some nice toys instead of those boring knife-things.

Harry already can throw a kunai! Practice. I wonder, will Harry be able to use magic, chakra, or both?

~ Kid, I've been living on borrowed time for the last seven years, ever since my first Jounin mission.

Ah, so that's why he is willing to sacrifice his life to let Kakashi finish the mission.

~ "What kind of a Jounin do you take me for?" Kakashi bit back a cruel retort—the kind who got her subordinates killed.

I don't know her, but she wasn't on good speaking terms with her subordinate, and it might have played role in one more death.

~ "Then think of some, hot-shot! I'm not going to die in a place like this!"

I don't like her. Thinking only about herself, considering others below her.

~ "Alright, brat," she said, "It's the only chance we've got so I'll give you it."

Good.

~ "I... can't remember this part too clearly."

The tunnel changed since then.

~ "And teammates should be there for each other, ne?" Kakashi didn't respond, the beginnings of guilt being swiftly pushed down. Hokage had told him he was right in what he'd done. "You did the best that you could, Kakashi."

It was right in this mission, because he couldn't save them, even if he stayed with them, even if he carried them on his back. But it doesn't mean that you should work alone each and every time, separately from the team.

~ "It's always about the rules and regulations with you..."

Family and friends are more important than rules and regulations.

~ Obito... is dead...

Why?

~ "Well, then stop acting like you're responsible for every single thing in the world,"

Agree.

Harry understands that Kakashi can speak with his dogs. When will Harry, and others, know that Harry can speak with snakes?

~ No matter how many times he told himself he didn't care what Harry thought of him, it was unbearable to think of the younger boy hating him because of this.

Harry doesn't hate you, or blame you.

So, unique white chakra is the reason Harry lived, while his parents didn't.

~ He sighed and dropped his hands—how was he supposed to make his feet glow? That was impossible!

[Growling] Dursleys...

~ He didn't—couldn't—question the fact that the name read 'Hatake Sakumo' instead of 'James Potter,' even though he desperately wanted to.

When will you ask Hokage?

Accidental Magic! Finally! Though, it's daft they don't have protective fence on their watching point. Anybody can fall down.

~ a six-year-old Harry might still have believed that his aunt and uncle had good reason to hate him for certain things that were outside his control.

I was afraid of the possibility...

~ We may have to take steps to prevent this from happening in the future.

Harry will only be convinced further that magic is bad. My advice: train him to control his magic, to feel it, to use it.

Agree... But nobody can be infallible. There is no guarantee it was possible for Obito to survive without causing deaths of others.

~ "He's had a hard life already, he deserves to be brought up where people care about him, rather than simply tolerate him."

Dursleys don't even tolerate him.

I'm glad Harry and Tenzou become friends.

I hope Sansaime will be alive. And I hope Orochimaru isn't immortal yet, doesn't use his curse seal yet.

Good luck, Harry, Kakashi, Tenzou. I hope they will not be separated; either Hogwarts letters will not reach them at all, or Harry will receive letters from other Magical schools, like Asian, European, American, Oceanian, African. I prefer the former; let Dumbledore think Harry was killed together with Dursleys, and let Harry train his magic, with assistance of Sansaime, like an unusual blood-line limit, together with Tenzou, with Kakashi-niisan's assistance.

I swear, Minato seems to channel Fai and Tamaki! not that I mind it just makes me have to fight back laughter...

...ooohhh... huge dark foreshadowing there Minato-sama...one word that describes what I thought at that sentence:

Kyuubi.

What an absolutely charming crossover! I love it when crossovers are, you know, pulled off in an awesome and unique way, and you have TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY done that. I love the burgeoning relationship between the two brothers, and seeing Harry grow as a ninja, and I can't wait to see what happens (to him, to his friends, especially to Kakashi) when the time comes for him to go to Hogwarts. I'm enjoying this so much! Thanks for posting such a great story :)
