I really like this story so far :) I have some helpful info that is probably not so helpful anymore since its been years since you have completed this but I'll say it anyway. I moved to the US when I was seven and it took me something like 2 to 3 months to learn English. I still didn't know some words but I could carry on relatively complicated conversations. Since Harry is a little bit younger and doesn't even have people at home he could talk to his own language, realistically it would probably take him 2 months or less to be able to understand all but a few words. Since this is fiction, it doesn't really matter if he takes him 3 or five months. Just a hopefully helpful hint for the future. Children do learn languages extremely fast :) Anyway love the story!

I have loved this story for a very long time, and it's made such an impact that it comes to me out of the blue, for no reason at all. I'ts like my mind is addicted to thinking about Harry being Sakumo's son, who was fathered during a strange mission to the Outside. I love thinking of Harry growing up in Konoha with Kakashi and the others. I'm in awe of what you did with these characters, the lives you gave them, and how they relate to each other and the impact they have on each other's lives.

Just for the record, it probably doesn't take a full year for a child to learn a new language. When I learned English, it took me about five months to be able to understand what people were saying and about seven months before I could answer them, and this was even with the few months I spent absolutely petrified of anyone who spoke English. This was when I was 11 years old. As I understand it, the younger the child in question is, the easier it would be to pick up a new language, so your Harry should be fluent in Japanese a great deal sooner.

I don't suppose it means Member of Parliament, either. Anyway, it's a good story, though for some reason, I've never really gotten into it. Now I'm determined to read it through, as well as its sequel. Also, I'd like to mention that you write very well, it actually gives me pleasure to read your stories. Thanks, and keep up the good work.

Ahaha that was funny. This story made me laugh a lot. It was good, even if it wasn't what I expected. Wow. Harry Potter is Kakashi Hatake's brother? Wow. It was really well written, and from what I've read so far, the sequel will be great. I'm gonna go read that now.

Really like what you've done with the language issue, and characterization. Kakashi's development into his adult self is a strange mystery indeed, and I am interested in its depiction. Sad that we will soon lose Minato.
