Interesting. You use too much Japanese though. Most of what you've used so far are words pretty much anyone will have picked up on by now if they watch anime, that is subbed and not dubbed anyway. The rest was easy enough to figure out, not sure about the food Kakashi ordered for himself and Harry. Is Kakashi going to be stubborn enough not to drop the "-san" suffix for a couple chapters yet? I wonder if he'll call Harry by just Harry or add a "-kun". I think the former, considering his personality at this time is slightly different from that of the future. The personality he shows the world anyway.

Great chapter! Nothing that stood out as weird. I like the fact that you've made the Jounin test personal for Konoha. I've seen many who, for some odd reason, make it so that ascention to Jounin is something Villages to together..

I've thought, ever since I read how Itachi was accepted to ANBU, that the test for becoming Jounin is something like that. With a few extra tests to test a person's basic ninja skills, stealth, precision, nin-jutsu and the like.

I just realised, but isn't there a war going on? Kakashi's youthful episode starts when they are waiting for Obito so that they may head out for Kakashi's first Jounin mission and Minato offering support to the frontlines, where he earns the name of "Yellow Flash". The war had been going on for a while by then.

How would Kakashi know about Mizuki? Wouldn't he be, what, three or four years old here? I guess it could just be chalked up to a ninja noticing someone else with something that looks almost similar to himself, and picked the guy's name up somewhere.

I realise Minato would likely make it a bit easier for his students to sense him when they were in the village or something, and Kakashi and Minato are both hailed as genius', but I still think that it seems too simple to tell who someone is by the chakra alone. Zabuza who was on his second fight with Kakashi and was by then familiar with the man's chakra only disarded the idea that Naruto's high chakra out-put (or whatever one is supposed to call it) was Kakashi's by thinking that it was too much.

Ah, you didn't make Rin an outcast Inuzuka that has pretty much become fanon, which I don't understand. Rin's "marks" don't at all resemble those of the Inuzuka. Good job! Perhaps that was mentioned in the manga somewhere, Kakashi Gaiden (I guess that's what it was called) most likely. I just don't remember it.

It was amusing how they all just assumed that Harry speak their language. Very good chapter.

I don't know if it is just misunderstandings, but so far it almost sounds like magic and chakra will be the same. I'm probably reading too much into what little implied it, as it's the number one thing I hate (only thing really, seeing as pretty much all the things I didn't like were a direct or not-so-direct effect of it) about Harry Potter/Naruto cross-overs.

Why would you need to use italics when it's so obvious? A perfect start as far as I'm concerned. I liked the way you made Minato use Kakashi's "maa, maa..", usually it's only Jiraya's books that Kakashi has adopted from his late sensei. I have a few things I am concerned about, I will adress them if they come up. No reason to do so now when you've already finished the story.

I haven't reviewed on this story until now, but I've really liked it so far. It's exciting, I like your writing style and the length of the chapters, and this story, even though it has its own plot, still stays true to both Naruto and Harry Potter.

This chapter has been so exciting-! I was really scared, thinking that the Kyuubi was going to attack any moment, sad to read about how Minato was getting ready, and still knowing what is going to happen to him (SOB TT_TT) Unless you changed the plot, that is O.o I'll just have to see...

ARGH, Harry is being such an IDIOT! He can't fight against Kyuubi! NOO! I need to keep reading!
