I wish this was AU enough that he could turn the eye off xD anyways, I love this fic! I can't wait to see what changes will happen and Harry's development! Also, the inevitable conflict with the wizards will be fun.

The amount of Harry/Tenzou feels in this chapter was great! I love their interactions and new friendship dynamic.

No matter how many times I read it, this chapter always manage to give me feels. Yamato and Harry are so adorable and just.. I want to cuddle them both to death, really. One of the best chapters, which is hard for this fanfic is really incredible, all the chaps are stunning.

I have to say this story departs pretty hard from canon about here, seeing what the latest chapters in the manga have to say about Kakashi and Rin. Obviously you should have known this 5 years ago. ;p

I'm mainly reviewing here as I realized it is 11 chapters in and I haven't reviewed at all. I love the story so far, obviously Harry being Harry has had 0 effect as opposed to any other kid. One thing I would like to say you should have done is bought some kids books for him to learn from.

Also civilian school would be a great way for him to pick up the language and be looked after for several hours a day. Obviously he would have to be put in a kindergarten level class, or similar, but even if he isn't required to participate as much it would have helped.

Of course who knows how regular school system works in Narutoverse.

I enjoyed this story very much. It's rare to have a ninja story where drama and characterization are the driving force of the narrative rather than humor or action. You told this story well and it was very entertaining.

Your story was amazing and I look forward to your sequel too.

This is a superb story and joins the thin ranks of my very favorite Naruto ones (up there with e.g. Time Braid and Team 8, although of course very different, as they are from each other). Your characterizations, to the extent we know of them from canon when you wrote it, are fantastic. It's compelling and that's hard with this sort of story.

One might complain that it's messy, but since it's what I call "slice of a (weird) life" that's OK, it and all the emotional "action" rings true.

I'm look forward to reading the sequel and then following its sequel as you write it. Please keep up the good work!

Wikiquote has this milquetoast version of a famous Patton quote that applies to the Fourth in this chapter:

"A good solution applied with vigor now is better than a perfect solution applied ten minutes later."

One should only blame him so much, this was his first hard, no one above him command decision, he was necessarily sleep deprived, etc. And however ugly it all was, it managed to keep with canon as I gather was known at the time you wrote it.
